Goodmorning everyone, I wanted to clear up the air just a smidge on why Nikita came back to us.

In my original post, I stated she came back to us due to no fault of her own. Which it had nothing to do with her as to why she’s back with us. I did not plan on sharing details about what had happened due to it really not being any one’s business. I did not post names of who the family is to protect their privacy and I really just didn’t think the details were necessary as Nikita is literally perfect and it wasn’t her fault she came back.

I made the decision to take the trip to go and pick her up from their home due to the rest of the week/weekend was not feasible for my families schedule. I did not have a problem doing this, my priority was to get Nikita back with us, and to take the stress off of the family.

I did not reply to any negative comments, as we were getting quite a bit. So instead of commenting on them, I am making a post.

When getting a puppy, you expect everything to work out and never have it come to mind that you’d need to return a puppy to their breeder. This family made the selfless decision to return Nikita to us due to a concern of safety as their older dog did not accept Nikita into their home. I do not blame them at all! People will have their opinions on everything, I am happy they reached out and Nikita is safe.

Please stop with the negative comments, and assuming they just didn’t want her. That was not the case at all!

10 hour round trip taking this girl to meet with whom we all thought would be her forever family on Sunday, 20 hour round trip picking her up and bringing her back home with us today. She loves snuggling with our 7 year old. She’s in there somewhere lol!

Whoever gets Nikita will be a lucky family, this girl is absolutely amazing. 🩷
