Pony of the week. Danny came from Pa. He came back on a trailer with Crosby whom we leased from a gentleman that had camp horses that were finished for summer camp . The owner of the camp horse’s told us Danny was owned by a gentleman that used to ride him to the store every Sunday to get his coffee and newspaper. Some how he ended up on the trailer to find another home. Of course , we got him off that trailer not knowing where he would go to. He’s a very lovable guy. He was used for some trail rides with kids and lesson’s and he has more go than whoa. He has personality plus and knows when it is feeding time . He is over 40 yrs old now. He loves everyone especially kids and cookies.

🐴 **THERE IS A DIFFERENT KIND OF WISDOM THAT COMES WITH TIME.**

An older horse doesn't need to be the fastest in the field.

Doesn't need to be the strongest.

Doesn't need to prove what it's capable of.

There is something quietly beautiful about a horse that has lived, learned, and found its own rhythm.

A softness in its presence.

A steadiness in its movement.

A wisdom that doesn't need to announce itself.

Perhaps we, too, spend too much of our lives trying to prove we're enough.

Trying to achieve more.
Be more.
Become more.

When sometimes, the most beautiful thing we can do is settle into who we already are.

To trust what life has taught us.

To stop measuring our worth by how much we accomplish.

And to understand that **growing older isn't about losing our fire. It's about learning where our light is needed.**

Because wisdom doesn't always arrive with a loud voice.

Sometimes, it stands quietly beside us, breathing gently, asking nothing of us at all.

And somehow, we remember what matters.

🌿 **Less proving. More knowing. Less striving. More being.**

Meet Cherokee. Cherokee came from Oklahoma with another buddy at a young age . Her folks who lived in Mineral Va, decided that she needed to be broke to ride. I think they were hoping on possibly doing barrels with her, but she ended up being a nice jumper. She was fairly easy to break and willing but a bit stubborn. “ Red mare“ . She was great to ride on trail rides and took care of her pupils . Older now . Still sassy at times . Her barn name is Pumpkin .
