Animal Medical Center of Somerset County, Inc was founded in 1992. It currently includes the skills and knowledge of two veterinarians, Dr. Vincent Svonavec and Dr. Ashley Maust, along with a motivated and caring staff. This dynamic team of care providers is committed to continuing education and providing cutting edge services!

We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend. We will be closed Monday, September 7th in observance of the federal holiday, Labor Day! ❤️

We will resume normal business hours starting Tuesday, September 8th at 7:30am.

We will have our answering service certified veterinary technicians available for triage and to direct to emergency rooms if needed. You can reach a CVT to discuss your pet by calling our main number in case of an emergency. You can submit refill requests, appointment requests or non-emergent questions via our online app or shoot us an email and we will go through those in the order they are received starting Tuesday.

We want to end our week with a special shout out and celebration! 🥳

Our Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Brittany has been promoted!! 🎉 Brittany has been with AMC for 6+ years and is now the technician supervisor! She will continue to do excellent work in dentistry alongside Dr. Maust in addition to her new exciting role!

Mattie has also been promoted!! 🙌 Mattie has been helping our office run smoothly for several years now behind the scenes including IT management and all things inventory, but she has expanded her role immensely and we cannot be more proud to call her our new Practice Manager!

We are so thankful and blessed to have numerous long term employees and a team where loyalty plus hard work allows us to provide the highest level of care in the region. ❤️

We are proud to offer this service to Somerset & surrounding counties as part of a comprehensive workup for chronic enteropathy in canine and feline patients. We do take referrals! 🤓

Hi all. Comcast is still in front of our building doing maintenance and our phones and internet have been very spotty for the last 3 days. We are getting some calls to come through, but not a lot.
