Our wonderful foster homes often take on dogs and cats with medical issues, and they nurse for these little ones through it all. Sometimes, after seeing a dog or cat through a medical issue, it’s hard to let them go. Such is the case with little Lynnon - his foster mom got him through some medical issues and decided he was in his forever home all along! we are so happy he’s staying in the family!

If this looks like a happy reunion, it's because it is! And if that looks like two different dogs, it's because our amazing grooming team volunteers groomed Prince before his Mom came to pick him up.

You see...Prince went missing almost six months ago and his family has been searching for him ever since. Fortunately, Prince was microchipped so when he arrived today as a stray, we were able to make the call to have him reunited, right away!

Do you wish your dog had a microchip? They can, and it's FREE! Join us in partnership with thSubaru Superstore of Chandler, and the campaign on Sunday, October 11th from 8-10am at the Subaru Superstore of Chandler located at 1050 S. Gilbert Road!

We're offering FREE microchips for cats and dogs, FREE DAPP vaccines for dogs (prevents parvo, distemper, canine influenza and hepatitis), as well as FREE FelloCell3 (prevents feline upper respiratory, feline herpes, and Panleukopenia) and FELV (prevents feline leukemia) for cats on a first come/first served basis, while supplies last.

For the safety of all attending this event, please ensure all dogs are leashed and all cats are in a proper cat carrier. Please be sure to arrive by 10am to receive services. Services will be provided for a maximum of 4 animals per household, and every two animals per household must have an adult present for handling.

You might call it Friday Eve, but we call it Tabby Thursday!

It's a Tabby Palooza at Friends for Life, and all these Tabby cats will be at the Adoption Center, located at 952 W. Melody Ave in Gilbert from 3-6pm today, just waiting to sneak into your heart and hitch a ride to their forever home.

Here's a fun fact about Tabby cats! They are master problem solvers! Studies on feline intelligence show that tabby cats often excel at spatial and puzzle-solving challenges compared to other types of cats.
