👀 Meet our Peacock, Pistachio! 🦚 There’s nothing quite like watching our peacock put on a show. When he fans out those shimmering tail feathers — each one dotted with a brilliant “eye,” called an ocellus — it’s like the whole farm pauses to admire nature’s artwork.

Peacocks display like this to impress potential mates, but honestly, we think he just enjoys dazzling the humans too. Native to the Indian subcontinent, these birds now brighten sanctuaries, parks, and farms around the world… and we’re lucky enough to have one strutting his stuff right here at ours.

Every feather, every flash of color, every proud step reminds us why giving rescued animals a safe place to thrive matters. Beauty isn’t just something you see — it’s something you protect.

Fun fact: Only males have the famous fans. They also shed and regrow their magnificent trains every year!

The couple had ordered the mattress topper but preferred something a little softer, instead of shipping back the mattress the company asked them to find a nonprofit to donate it to instead.

Don’t throw away your eggshells — our chickens would LOVE them! 💛 We are collecting CLEAN eggshells to recycle back to the flock as a natural calcium supplement to help keep our hens healthy and laying strong eggs. 🌱✨

Please make sure:
✅ Eggshells are washed
✅ Completely dried
✅ Stored in a Ziploc bag

You can drop them off at the farm anytime you’re in the neighborhood! ♻️🐔
