Looking to rehome a 2-3 year old Husky mix. Do not know much of his background as he was adopted from the pound. Very friendly, loves other dogs (best with larger dogs as he doesn't know his own strength), gets along with the cat in the household. Household is changing and really needs to be in a pack and with people that are home more often. Very enthusiastic young dog that does needs some training, knows sit and down but does not have great recall. Walks excitedly on leash, is housebroken but does get into things so would not recommend a household with small children. A backyard is a must with at least a 6 ft block fence. A meet and greet is a must as is a home visit. Please contact me via Facebook if you or anyone you know might be interested. Have looked into rescue but they are full.

Update - Now that we’ve had some time to get to know Archie, we have a better idea of what he will need in a forever home. This 8 mo old boy had lived life in an apartment and wasn’t exposed to much so the outside world and all its noises are a little scary for him. He is a bit uncomfortable on a leash at this time, he prefers to run around the yard and play vs go for a walk.

Archie would benefit from a younger household with children he can grow up with as he loves kids (he also loves cats!) and a nice grassy yard to run in…also important would be another confident dog buddy to run and play with who can also show him the world outside of home is an ok place. He is getting better in regard to his fear of outside noises, but his new family will need to provide training and be patient with him as he adjusts to his new home and surroundings.

Meet Archie, an adorable 8 mo old male Sheltie who will be on the larger side when full grown. He is already neutered, chipped & up to date on shots. He loves cats, children, other dogs and people.

Archie is incredibly sweet and would do excellent with a young family to grow with and a secure grassy yard to play in. He is located in Phoenix, AZ

Like any youngster, Archie will need an active family who will provide him with the training he needs and help him burn off some sheltie energy. He was not exposed to the outside world much, so he will need someone who will be patient with him as he gets used to the sights and sounds that happen outside of the home.

He is housebroken but occasionally has accidents so he needs to be taken out regularly while he learns his new routine. He is trained to go on potty pads too. He is well behaved in the house.

We recently welcomed little Poppy to rescue ~ this little girl is 9 mos old and about 12lbs right now. She’s going to be a small sheltie when full grown.

According to her foster family she is super cuddly (once you earn her trust), happy, plays with your toes, plays with dogs, would probably be good with a cat once she learns the rules.

She’s good with bigger dogs, but with dogs her size or smaller she can be a little alpha. She wants all the attention so she probably wouldn’t mind being the only dog.

Poppy was never potty trained and she’s not really picking up on that yet. She barks ALOT. She has been waking up the house at an early hour because she wants attention and out of the ex pen. Due to the barking she would not be the right fit for an apartment or condo.

She was turned over to rescue because her people decided a puppy was too much for them. Her new family will need to be willing to deal with all that comes with a cute little puppy. They will need to take the time to train her, teach her the rules, and help her burn off her puppy energy.
