🐄❤️ We may only treat small animals here at Castlerock Pet Hospital, but our love for animals certainly doesn’t stop there.

For those who may not know, our Practice Manager, JD, also raises Red Brangus cattle and has a connection to the livestock and ranching community.

As the Ross Fire near Mineral Wells continues to burn and affect ranches, livestock, and families in the area, we knew we wanted to do what we could to help.

We are incredibly grateful to the local ranching community for coming together to make that possible. One local rancher ( the Mowdy family) generously donated the hay, while another ( the Daniell and Hardcastle family) generously covered the cost of the feed. JD will be hauling the hay and feed to the area, along with medical supplies generously donated by Dr. Hoff and Dr House to help animals that have been injured or burned by the fire.

A huge thank-you to everyone who has stepped up to help. It is truly amazing to see people come together when their fellow Texans—and their animals—need it most. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Hoff for his willingness to step up when animals are in need❤️

This is one of the things that makes Castlerock Pet Hospital so special. Being an independently owned practice allows us to come together, support one another, and help animals in need—even when those animals have four hooves instead of four paws.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the Ross Fire, and we’re honored to play a small part in helping our fellow Texans and their animals. 🇺🇸🐄

Dear Castlerock Pet Hospital Clients,

We would like to inform you that this Friday, August 14th, at 3:00 PM, our phones, internet, and PIMS (our practice management system) will be temporarily unavailable while we have a new firewall installed and complete a server update.

During this time, we will have limited access to patient records and will be unable to process requests or respond to phone calls and messages as we normally would.

If your pet needs a medication refill, please contact us before 3:00 PM on Friday so we can do our best to get your request taken care of before the system goes offline.

We understand that we already have limited appointment availability, and we sincerely apologize for any additional inconvenience this may cause. These technology updates are necessary to improve the reliability, security, and functionality of our systems moving forward.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete these important upgrades to better serve you and your pets. We truly appreciate your continued support of Castlerock Pet Hospital.

Great news! Our phone and internet services are back up and running.
