🎉Meet Dr. Victoria Gonzalez🎉

Hello! My name is Dr. Victoria Gonzalez, and I am excited to join the team at Old Town Veterinary Hospital as a veterinarian. I am passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and helping pet owners feel informed and confident when it comes to their pets’ health. My goal is to make every visit a positive experience while taking the time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions.

I am originally from Kyle, Texas, and attended Colorado State University, where I earned my degree in Biology with a minor in Biomedical Science. I then pursued my veterinary education internationally at St. George’s University.

I have a special interest in caring for dogs and cats and hope to eventually expand my experience to include small mammals as well. I am also a proud pet parent to a senior pup who recently celebrated his 17th birthday and holds a very special place in my heart.

Outside of the hospital, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with my friends and family. I look forward to getting to know you and your furry family members and becoming a part of their care team!

📣We are thrilled to announce Dr. Teagan Vander Straten will be joining the team at Old Town Veterinary Hospital on August 3rd!📣

She grew up in the Austin area and completed both her undergraduate and veterinary studies at Texas A&M University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and is a proud former member of Parsons Mounted Cavalry and the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating magna cm laude. Since then, she has been practicing small animal general practice in the greater Austin area before joining the team here at Old Town!

Dr. Vander Straten’s professional interests include dentistry, surgery, dermatology, and preventive medicine. She enjoys partnering with pet owners to develop personalized care plans that fit each pet’s unique needs and lifestyle. Known for her clear, compassionate communication and gentle approach, she strives to make every veterinary visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible for both pets and their families.
