8/22/2026. 🐾❤️WELCOME TO YOUR NEW HOME FRANKIE🐾❤️

On this hot and humid Saturday morning we welcomed newly approved adopters, Russ and Kalicia from Yulee, Florida which is about 90 miles NE of the rescue here in Gainesville.

This couple, along with their young son Charlie, came to our rescue looking for a young puppy who deserved a great start on life and one that will enjoy walks, runs and learning to play with their current dog, Sally, a 2 year old pit/lab mix in their fenced in very large property. He will also meet Lucy, a cockapoo!

Joe introduced them to a recently acquired puppy named Tanner. This little guy came out of Pasco county at approximately 8 weeks of age. He is now approximately 10 weeks old and definitely ready to find his forever home.

This sweet boy wasted no time interacting with Russ, Kalicia and Charlie and they all quickly agreed that he would be a perfect match for them. The adoption agreement was signed and Tanner’s name was changed to FRANKIE. Love that name❤️

Thank you Russ, Kalicia and family for choosing Florida Rottweiler Rescue Ranch in your search for a puppy. I’m certain FRANKIE will be well cared for and smothered with love, no doubt. Please keep us posted on this progress in his new home.

🦴🐾❤️HAPPY ADOPTION DAY FRANKIE❤️🐾🦴

8/7/2026. A little bit late posting this great adoption!!

❤️🦴🐾❤️🦴🐾LUNA is now LENA❤️🐾🦴❤️🐾🦴

Florida Rottweiler Rescue Ranch has a lot of repeat adopters and this couple is one of them! Meet Erin and Stephen who, back on 6/4/2020, visited the rescue when it was located in Dover, FL. They adopted one of the sweetest dogs named Rosie and she was treated like a queen from all the updates we received. Rosie sadly passed away after living the best possible life EVER. RIP sweet Rosie.

ON this HOT summer day Erin and Stephen made the trip to our rescue that is now located in Gainesville, a move from Dover that happened several years ago. Joe showed them a very sweet female named Luna. This lucky pup was pulled out of Lee County by Michelle Murphy under the Salty Dog Sanctuary. Thank You Michelle!

It was a perfect match for Erin, Stephen and Luna. They didn’t take long to agree to the adoption and they also changed her name to LENA. As good as the records might be, it shows her birthday as 1/27/2026 so that makes her 8 months or so.

Congratulations Erin and Stephen for returning to Florida Rottweiler Rescue for another dog. We are so happy for you and also for LENA as we know her life will drastically change for the good. It’s always rewarding to send our pups home to such great homes as this one.

LENA, enjoy your new home in Brooksville and we hope to hear nothing but good things from your new adoptive parents about your adjustment into your new home!❤️🙏🦴🐾❤️🙏🦴🐾
