More tiny friends…ACAR is in need of kitten formula, heating pads, kitten wet food, and most importantly…FOSTERS! These babies have placement for the night, but with more coming in every day, more longterm fosters are urgently needed to support our lifesaving mission. If that’s not you? Totally fine! Share this post with your friends and community, donate supplies, and do your part to help save these tiny, fragile lives. 🐾🐱

It's been raining kittens; please help us restock our pantry! Formula, ni***es, kitten wet food, litter boxes, scales, and pack'n'plays are especially in need at this time.

It’s officially kitten season, and you know what that means…
It’s raining kittens at Animal Resources! 🌧️🐱
With so many tiny fluffballs arriving, we’re going through a LOT of supplies — especially kitten wet food. If you’re able to donate, our growing babies (and our team!) would be so grateful. Every can truly helps.
A huge thank you to our incredible fosters who have been opening their homes just as quickly as the public brings these little ones to us. We couldn’t keep up without you! 💛https://a.co/0iHV7fWy

These sweet babies are still looking for foster! They are eating slurry nicely, but are just too teeny-tiny to benefit from staying in the shelter environment. They will make fabulous first foster kittens, as they do not need to be bottle fed and will likely be a 3-4 week foster commitment.

Looking to foster kittens? Now’s your chance! Email [email protected] or come in directly during open hours today to foster. This is a great opportunity for Bright Futures hours for high school students as well.

Here are some fashion shots of the adoptable pups who strutted their stuff in today’s playgroups. Remember all adoption fees on ready to go animals are FEE WAIVED through 5/23!

Looking to make a difference in the lives of shelter pets? Consider short term fostering! Whether it’s teeny tiny kittens in need of bottle feeding or weight gain, puppies, adult dogs undergoing heartworm treatment, pets that need to gain weight or to get a little extra TLC following vet care; a two to six week foster period makes a huge difference in the recovery time for our medically needy pets. And for our Bright Futures or scholarship students; you can receive volunteer hours for fostering!

Learn more by calling in directly at 352-264-6870 to inquire, emailing [email protected], or coming in during open hours!
