Why Heartworm Prevention Is Important???

Heartworm disease is a serious and potentially life-threatening condition that is transmitted through mosquito bites. Once infected, pets can suffer damage to the heart, lungs, and blood vessels, often before any symptoms are noticeable.🦟

Fortunately, heartworm disease is highly preventable with routine monthly prevention and annual testing.

🔸Protects against a potentially fatal disease
🔸Helps avoid costly and intensive treatment
🔸Supports your pet’s long-term health and well-being

Year-round heartworm prevention is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your pet. If you have questions about your pet’s prevention plan, our team is happy to help.🐶🐱

🐱 Did You Know? Cat Edition! 🐱

📬 Cats as Mail Carriers?
In 1870s Belgium, an experiment briefly explored using cats to deliver mail. While the idea was creative, the feline couriers were far more interested in napping and exploring than sticking to a delivery schedule!

🏺 The Oldest Known Pet Cat
Archaeologists discovered a 9,500-year-old cat burial in Cyprus, suggesting that humans and cats shared a special bond more than 4,000 years before cats appeared in ancient Egyptian artwork.

❤️ Cats have been our companions for thousands of years—and they're still keeping us entertained today!

🐾 Frequent accidents in the house? Excessive licking? Straining to urinate? Your pup could have a urinary tract infection (UTI).

UTIs in dogs are more common than many pet parents realize and can become serious if left untreated. Signs to watch for include:

✔️ Frequent urination
✔️ Blood in the urine
✔️ Accidents indoors
✔️ Crying or discomfort while urinating
✔️ Excessive licking around the urinary area
✔️ Strong-smelling urine

If you notice any of these symptoms, schedule an exam with your veterinarian as soon as possible. Early treatment can help your dog feel better fast and prevent the infection from spreading to the kidneys.

💧 Keeping fresh water available, regular potty breaks, and routine vet visits can help support urinary health year-round!

Your furry friend is counting on you. 🐶❤️

🎉🐾 Cinco de Mayo Safety Tips for Your Furry Fiesta Friends! 🐾🎉

It’s time to celebrate, but don’t forget to keep your pets safe while the fiesta is in full swing!

🌮 Skip the spicy snacks: Foods like tacos, onions, garlic, and anything spicy can upset your pet’s tummy (or worse!).
🍹 Watch the drinks: Alcohol is a big no for pets—keep those margaritas out of reach.
🎊 Decor safety: Streamers, confetti, and small decorations may look like toys but can cause choking or tummy troubles.
🏡 Secure spaces: With guests coming and going, make sure your pet has a calm, safe place to relax and avoid sneaking out.

Let’s keep tails wagging and celebrations safe this Cinco de Mayo! 🐶🐱💚❤️

Have a fun and pet-friendly fiesta! 🎉
