This month we made two trips to Tomora for cross-country schooling, and we all had a blast!

It was equally fun to see experienced riders and horses push themselves and riders new to eventing tackle XC jumps for the first time.

And we saw a bald eagle hanging out by the water complex! 🦅

I have been quiet on social media as we have been settling in to the new location and finding our new normal! It’s been a busy and sometimes chaotic time.

I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported the horses, instructors and I these past few months. It’s been an adventure that has taken a village, that’s for sure. I’ve been blown away by all the offers for help and support these past few months, and have never been more grateful for this community.

What a month!

Apollo Equestrian and GreenAcres Equine have consolidated all operations to the GreenAcres Dry Creek location, nestled in the foothills of west Fort Collins. The GreenAcres Mulberry location will formally discontinue boarding operations on August 31st.

This property opens so many doors for Apollo Equestrian! Horses are enjoying more turnout on grass while maintaining the same high standard of care set at the Mulberry location. The property features a large arena with upgraded footing, spacious indoor arena with new footing coming soon, hills to hack on, and opportunities for expansions such as a gallop track and cross country course (who else is excited?!) Clients now have access to a lounge including a full kitchen and bathroom!

Huge thank you to Cara Greenacre for her hard work and dedication- none of this is possible without her vision, planning, and hard work. It is so cool to work alongside people cut from the same cloth as myself and there is no one else with whom I’d rather do this.

A second huge thank you to Chesca, my ride or die assistant, who took so many things off my plate this month so I could focus on logistics of moving. I would truly be lost without you, and holy cow am I grateful to have you on my team.

To the clients who have trusted me and gone through this month of upheaval with me- thank you for your patience and grace. Hear me when I say I don’t take a single one of you for granted, and I am so excited to be getting to the other side of this and in a position to offer even more than before!

Last but certainly not least… This has been a massive amount of work, and a massive amount of teamwork. I am so incredibly grateful to the group of people who have rallied around us to help us get things done so that horses could move in mid-August. To all my clients,GreenAcres staff, working students and friends who went far and above the call of duty to support us- THANK YOU. Cara and I have in common that we dream big, and it takes a special group of people to support us in this journey!

Here’s to the horses that brought us here, and the people who make it all possible. You are the spirit of the sport!

And here’s to chasing dreams and catching them.
