TRI-POD ALERT! ⚠️ And she's little!!

Meet Sailor, a 22lb girl who is only abut 1 year old. Due to an injury she needed to have a back leg amputated, but it doesn't bother her one bit. If anything, she's much speedier now and zooms around the yard! 😄

Sailor lives with another male dog here at the shelter, so we think she'd do great in a home with other dogs. 🐶 We also think she could do well with kids or cats after a proper intro, but she has not officially been tested. Sailor has the best smile, loves pets & attention, and is ready to meet a loving family of her own.

❗️Our sweet Bella dog needs YOUR help and urgently❗️

Bella is the perfect companion in the home. Non destructive, mellow and just loves being around her people.💕 Here at the shelter? She has severe anxiety and has harmed herself trying to get out of her room overnight. She anxiously sits at her gate waiting for some comfort and just truly does not do well being in this loud environment.💔

We are urgently looking for a foster home (or adopter!) so she can relax and live her best life. She does not see the best so she will need some time to get the house pattern down, but once she does look out! She will be right there with you for any activity.🐾 Bella enjoys being outside☀ and on the couch. 🛋

Fostering is completely free to you. We provide all supplies and medical care, you provide the love and fun!

🐾 PET OF THE WEEK w/ High Country Humane - please SHARE! 📲

At 8 years old and ~65lbs, Rocko is proof that senior dogs are some of the very best companions. This handsome boy has so much love left to give and deserves a cozy home to spend his golden years in.

Rocko recently traveled all the way to Colorado in hopes of finding his forever family, but despite being an absolute gem, he didn't receive much adoption interest. Now he's back with the team at High Country Humane, and we're more determined than ever to find him the loving home he deserves.

Rocko is incredibly well-mannered. He's fully potty trained, non-destructive in the home, and a very smart boy who already knows commands like sit, down, touch, gentle, and leave it. His favorite thing in the world is simply being with his people and playing with his toys.

This sweet senior would prefer to be the only pet in the home, allowing him to soak up all the love and attention for himself. In return, he'll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and endless affection.

Rocko has waited long enough. Let's help this angel of a dog find the family he's been dreaming of!

Meet Shyann! 🐾

Shyann is an almost 2 year old sweetheart who is currently thriving in foster care while she waits for her forever home. 💛

In a short time, she has already shown just how smart, attentive, and eager to please she is. She’s incredibly people-focused and loves to stay close to her person, always checking in and looking for cues on what to do next. Whether on or off leash, she’s well-mannered and enjoys staying right by your side.

Shyann has also done great with other dogs she’s met, including at dog parks, and continues to walk calmly without leash reactivity. She’s been neutral and relaxed around cats during walks as well, showing a nice, steady temperament in new situations.

Friendly with new people and already fitting right into a routine, she’s even earned the unofficial title of “office dog” at her foster’s workplace. 🐶
