From a wild young working puppy to the powerful, loyal, intelligent dog he is today — it’s been incredible watching this boy grow.

Kronos has taught us so much about drive, engagement, resilience, and the relationship that can be built between dog and handler through structure, clarity, and trust. Whether it’s training, working, hiking, playing ball, or just being by our side every day, he gives 100% in everything he does.

Strong nerves. Big personality. Endless intensity. Loyal to the core.

One of the biggest mistakes we see with young puppies is focusing only on commands while skipping the foundations that actually create a stable, confident dog.

GUS AT THE FARMERS MARKET ❤️

1 year old Bernedoodle.
Big feelings. Big excitement. Big environment.

Today was Gus’ first time working through the Edmonds Farmers Market on a Saturday — dogs, people, food, movement, smells, rewards everywhere. Instead of letting excitement turn into chaos, we worked on engagement, maintaining behavior, and learning how to stay connected through stimulation.

This is what real training looks like:
building neutrality, teaching emotional regulation, and helping dogs learn how to exist in busy environments without losing their brain.

Whether you’re raising a brand-new puppy or navigating the adolescent phase, our programs are designed to help owners build real-world obedience, engagement, confidence, and structure from the beginning.

🐶 Puppy Fundamentals
Ages: 10 weeks – 6 months
Focused on:
• Engagement & relationship building
• Confidence development
• Proper socialization & neutrality
• Marker system foundations
• Leash skills, recall, place, and impulse control
• Creating focus around distractions

🐕 Obedience Intensive
Ages: 6 months – 1 year
Focused on:
• Obedience Intensive foundations
• Reliable leash work & recall
• Neutrality around dogs, people, and environments
• Public training exposure
• Structured play & fulfillment

Socialization is important — but true puppy development is about creating positive, structured experiences that build confidence without overwhelming your dog. 🐾

Not every puppy enters the world with the same level of confidence. Some puppies are naturally social and outgoing, while others may be more cautious, environmentally sensitive, or easily overstimulated.

Our goal is not to create a puppy that needs to greet every person or dog they see.

Our goal is to create a puppy that can remain calm, neutral, engaged, and confident in different environments.

With shy or softer puppies, we focus heavily on:
✔️ Relationship building
✔️ Engagement with the handler
✔️ Confidence development through play, food, and clear guidance
✔️ Teaching the puppy that safety and value come from working with us

As confidence improves, we begin introducing more social exposure — but we continuously bring the puppy’s attention back to the handler to reinforce focus, trust, and neutrality around distractions.

This helps prevent:
• Over-arousal
• Frustration around dogs/people
• Environmental sensitivity
• Reactivity later in life

A well-socialized puppy is not the puppy that says hello to everyone.
It’s the puppy that can confidently exist in the world while staying connected to their handler. 👊🐶

Set your puppy up for success with our Puppy Fundamentals Course at Everyday K9 Solutions.

This course is designed to help puppies build:
✔️ Confidence
✔️ Engagement
✔️ Neutrality around people & dogs
✔️ Calm social skills
✔️ Positive training foundations for real life

Our goal is NOT over-socialization.
We focus on teaching puppies how to exist calmly and confidently around the world while building strong relationships with their owners. Building appropriate outlets.

Our approach follows the reward-based system and what matters most:

In the early stages, we prioritize:
• Hand feeding to clearly establish that all resources come from you
• Creating engagement so your puppy chooses you over the environment
• Building value in interaction before expecting performance

This foundation teaches your puppy:

👉 Working with you is valuable
👉 The world becomes less overwhelming and more predictable

From there, we layer in appropriate outlets to build confidence the right way:

Not all stimulation is equal.

Indy 6.0 🚀

Indy recently completed her 3-week Board & Train with us, she developed strong new skills and made significant progress in her reactivity.

But more importantly—this is where the journey truly begins.

Her owner shared this with us this morning:
“Indy got to walk to the river for the first time ever and it felt so manageable 🚀”

“She even saw other dogs, we redirected, and she didn’t make a peep”

This is what it’s all about—real-world success, clear communication, and a dog that can navigate life with confidence and clarity.

Indy isn’t even a year old, and the progress she’s made in just three weeks is a direct reflection of her family’s commitment and consistency. We’re incredibly proud of all three of you for putting in the work and trusting the process.
