Parkour, fitness and foundations classes are appropriate starting points for any dog sports, and will help you create a resilient, thoughtful dog that's motivated to work with you. Building that working relationship is the most important part of raising a sport puppy!

I’ve been thinking so much about resilience and recovery lately. Mental and physical, both. We spent twelve hours at a trial yesterday. How many hours of this will we need to balance that out? Double, I’d guess—at least. Freedom to move, to sniff, or to sit and stare and drink tea. I’m so grateful I have the resources for all of us to be the best I can make us.

Old bones Vesper was feeling great today! I had to cut her off so she wouldn’t be too sore tomorrow… and I wish I had video of me shoving her back up the hill while she casually pretended she didn’t need my help (she absolutely did)
