Thank you to everyone who booked and brought pets for our last surgery day on Saturday!!

We have now altered over 150 cats and dogs from Wise and surrounding counties and I’m so thankful for the impact that will have on the pet population as well as human health (both physically and mentally!! ☺️)

Though we will not be having another surgery day for 1-2 months, stay tuned for other updates in the meantime, and educational content about spay/neuter FAQ and other pet health info! 😃

🚨 Surgery Day Reminder — This Saturday! 🚨

We still have a few DOG surgery spots available this Saturday at Snip & Tuck! 🐶✂️

If you’ve been putting off getting your pup spayed or neutered, now is a great time to get scheduled before spots fill.

Every pet that has surgery with us receives a pre-surgical physical exam by our veterinarian. That exam establishes a valid doctor-patient relationship (VCPR), which allows us to prescribe important medications your pet may need — including heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention that can truly be lifesaving. 🩺

Ticks are already active in our area, and several tick-borne diseases can affect BOTH pets and people, including:
• Ehrlichiosis
• Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
• Lyme disease

Preventatives are one of the easiest ways to help protect your pets — and your family.

Only 1 in 4 kitties born outside survive more than 6 months?! I knew the odds weren’t great but that’s sad!

While Mimi is getting the high chair and bassinet broken in for her new human sibling, Dr. Jordy will have ONE final surgery day before heading out on maternity leave — and spots are officially OPEN! 🩺🐾

We are so incredibly grateful for the support this community has shown our small business! 💜

Since our first surgery day in December, we’ve been able to provide nearly 150 spay & neuter surgeries—helping improve the health of pets and reduce unwanted litters right here in our community. That’s something we’re really proud of, and it wouldn’t be possible without you. 🤗

With maternity leave coming up soon, I would love to reach that 150 milestone before stepping away.

Attention my TNR friends!!!

I am closing surgery spots to the public for this Friday, but will be accepting up to 4 feral cats day of surgery if anyone is out trapping and catches one Wednesday or Thursday night!

If you are interested, post below or shoot me a message that you’ll be trying to catch one, so I can get you the info to get them in with us if you are successful!

If your pet received vaccinations at our April 10th Surgery Day, and it was their first one ever (or in awhile) it's time for a booster vaccine!! ⏰ 💉

After initial vaccination of a dog over 6 months of age, a ~3 week booster is recommended for optimal protection against severe diseases like Distemper and Parvovirus. Please note: at this time, our booster vaccines are only being offered to previous surgery patients who have already been examined by our Dr. and deemed healthy for vaccination. This may change in the future pending community need and our staffing ability! ☺️
