We are a local mixed animal practice in Decatur, Texas. We are an award winning veterinary clinic in Decatur, Texas.

Our services include vaccinations and surgery for your dogs, cats, horses, cattle, pigs and small ruminants. We currently have 2 doctors on staff and offer on-call services 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week for our current clients and their beloved pets.

🚨 Found Dog – Decatur, TX 🚨

We had a good Samaritan that found a tan male French Bulldog near the QT in Decatur. He’s a very sweet guy and seems like he’s just trying to find his way back home.

He is currently safe at the clinic. If you or someone you know is missing him, please reach out as soon as possible!

Let’s help this little guy get back to his family ❤️

📣 Notice to Our Livestock Clients 🐴🐮🐷

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to process cattle, horses, sheep, and goats today (Friday, April 10th) or tomorrow (Saturday, April 11th).

We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.

We’ll be back to normal operations on Monday, April 13th, and look forward to taking care of you then.

UPDATE: OWNERS FOUND 😍

🚨 FOUND DOGS – Please Share! 🚨

Two dogs were found today on North FM 51 near FM 455 running down the highway and dodging trucks. Thankfully they are now safe!

🐕 Yellow Lab – older neutered male

🐕 Black Lab – female

Both are very sweet and friendly

We are hoping to reunite them with their family as soon as possible. If you recognize these dogs or know who they belong to, please send me a message.

🌤️ Monday Update | January 26th 🌤️

We will be open on Monday, January 26th with limited staffing as conditions continue to improve and we ease back into normal operations safely.

If you have a surgery scheduled and would like to reschedule, please give us a call starting at 9am or send us a message. We’ll get you worked in as quickly as we can without turning the parking lot into a winter obstacle course.

We do ask that you limit unnecessary travel
(yes… that nail trim can absolutely wait a couple more days 😂🐾)

If you do need to come in, or if an emergency comes up, please travel safely and take your time. We care way more about you arriving safely than arriving fast.

❄️ Weather Closure Notice Saturday January, 24th ❄️

After careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to close the clinic on Saturday, January 24th to help ensure the safety of our staff, our clients, and your pets. We want everyone to avoid unnecessary travel and stay safe.

We are also continuing to closely monitor the weather and will be making a determination regarding a possible Monday closure as conditions develop.

❄️ Weather Watch Update ❄️

We’re keeping a very close eye on the upcoming weather this weekend and how it may impact clinic hours. Our top priority is always the safety of our team, our clients, and your pets.

👉 Saturday:
We will make a final decision on any possible Saturday closure on Friday. We will be open regular hours on Friday, and any updates will be posted here on Facebook and on our website.

👉 Monday:
Because weather loves suspense, we’ll share a separate update about Monday once we see how things play out over Saturday and Sunday.

In the meantime, please remember the 4 P’s during cold weather:

People – stay safe and warm

Pets – bring them indoors and keep them cozy

Pipes – drip them so they don’t freeze

Plants – cover or bring them inside
