We will be laced up, hitting the pavement, and pounding the Houston streets to fundraise for this incredible organization. Thank you .about.mahj and for providing beautiful and affordable mahjong tile sets!!! I think that this set is my favorite so far!! My husband asked me “why do you need another set?”…. My response “why not?!” Even my dog is judging me 😂 I’m actually preparing for an upcoming veterinary CE cruise to Alaska in two weeks and I’ve managed to convince a group of fellow veterinarians to learn the game and play on board! In observance of Memorial Day, Cypress Lakes Animal Hospital will be closed on Monday, May 25th, as we honor and remember the brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🕊️✨
We will resume our regular hours on Tuesday, May 26th at 8:00 AM.

Our oath: Being admitted to the profession of veterinary medicine, I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering, the conservation of animal resources, the promotion of public health, and the advancement of medical knowledge.
I will practice my profession conscientiously, with dignity, and in keeping with the principles of veterinary medical ethics.
I accept as a lifelong obligation the continual improvement of my professional knowledge and competence. ** I spoke up for a dog that I felt was suffering yesterday and was criticized by that owner for being rude and unprofessional because I recommended euthanasia due to it’s suffering. If we don’t speak up, who will? For the next generation of vets and for my colleagues, don’t be afraid to speak up and advocate for your patients!!!!
