Cypress Lakes Animal Hospital is a small animal hospital serving the communities of Northwest Houston since 2013. It is located within the new shopping center adjacent to Cy Ranch High School, and the Bridgeland and Cypress Creek Lakes communities. Dr. Morales is a 1999 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in hospitals in the Houston, San Antonio and Tyler areas...b

Houston Rabbit Resource works tirelessly to help find homes for stray and abandoned rabbits, they work with us and with to help obtain medical and surgical care, and they work to educate new rabbit owners on proper feeding, socialization and housing. Week two for Claire’s senior year veterinary externship is complete! More surgery experience, ophthalmology lessons, rabbit dental extractions, myringotomies and lessons in critical care cases and end of life conversations.

Claire is a senior veterinary student from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. We are so excited to have her spend her externship with us. Claire is extra dear to us as she used to work at CLAH as a veterinary technician … so to get to see her in this phase of her education is VERY exciting!!! 🥹 We have had amazing clients and Rabbit Resource allow Claire to perform exams and procedures on their pets in order to gain more experience. This is all done under the direct supervision of the doctors at CLAH.

🦇About 70% of human cases in the U.S. come from contact with infected bats. 💉Around 50,000 to 100,000 people get shots (post-exposure prophylaxis) every year after a possible exposure. 🌎 Worldwide, rabies causes about 59,000 deaths every year, mostly in areas where dogs still carry the virus.
