Hall Mountain Rabbit Beagles began in 2007 with the purchase of a bluetick beagle male named Joker and a little tri-color female named Annie. Over the next few years additional females were added to our kennel as they exhibited some of the traits we were looking to establish in our own line of bluetick beagles. The little Cherry pup blew me away yesterday evening in the starting pen. She just turned 4 months old and is doing this. She's going to be a good one for sure.

I took Peanut up to the pen at lunchtime today. She sure knew a bunny was in this brush pile. With a little help, she pushed it out. Nice start for this female.

I took Cherry up on the hill this evening in the starting pen. She found one scooting around that gave her a little chase. I'll take her back up in a few days.

I took Peanut for a walk at lunchtime today by herself. She's got her nose down and is searching. I saw her scent trail several tracks without opening. She's a few week behind her sister, but I'll just let her come along at her own pace.

Second straight evening the Cherry pup has scent trailed a deer track and opened the whole time. Time to move this young lady from our evening walks to some time in the starting pen up on the ridge. Super excited!!!

Got the dogs out early this morning and ran until almost lunchtime. So pleased with this pack of dogs as each contributes during the morning. Nobody is along for the ride. This little Poppy female is showing some wheels!!! Dogs down were Raven, Poppy, Blue Jay, Susie Q, and Ivy.
