Georgia Jack Russell Rescue We began several years ago as a Mom and Pop organization and foster agent for area rescues. We lost our wonderful Pop, Jim, in December 2009.

We are now a small but mighty non-profit rescue and adoption agency located in Atlanta metro area. This fan page was created by a few volunteers who work with Georgia Jack Russell Rescue, Inc. He loved our Jacks and worked tirelessly day and night to take care of the dogs. Now Mama Donna and a handful of volunteers are running the foster home … and holding down regular jobs. As you might imagine, this is a huge undertaking, but these precious dogs are worth saving and re-homing. View Our Wish List:

A bit cool today. Willow was out but is now back in. She wants company out there and I don't want to put on jeans and a jacket! (No windbreak for me)

Look at this adorable girl! She looks like Willow and Harper but unlike them, she is ready to go!Orphan Annie Rescue

Orphan Annie Rescue

Mary-Kate is a 1-2 year old, 9 lb mixed breed Terrier. She and her sister were found as strays by one of our volunteers, likely dumped in the neighborhood. After working hard to catch them, it was a success, and the girls went to animal control to complete their stray hold in case an owner came to claim them. No one came, so the girls entered the rescue.

Mary-Kate is understandably shy at first but comes around quickly. She is extremely sweet and loves attention. She will come over to you and give you kisses. She smiles when she's nervous, and it's extremely cute. She is good with other dogs but has not been around cats. She is crate-trained and doing well with house-training. She is NOT comfortable on a leash at this time, so she does REQUIRE a fenced in yard.

If you're interested in adopting her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org

Hoping our southern and coastal folks are OK. We have rain in the metro area, 2.5 to 3 inches inside the perimeter. No report from the ranch yet but we'll add that when we know.

A small set back with Harper. Willow decided to "help" and licked her stitches raw yesterday. So, a quick run by Conyers Animal Hospital today where her incision was cleaned up and an antibiotic given.

She's resting quietly and out of reach of her"sister".

Hi, my name is Bogey and I'm a 3 year old long legged Jack Russell. I'm super sweet and love everyone, including children. I need a fenced in back yard as I'm a typical Jack with lots of energy. I'm currently being fostered in Chapel Hill, NC. I'm neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped. You can fill out an application at www.russellrescuecarolinas.com.
