This weeks pet of the week is Fudge A051817. Fudge is a 7 year old pup who is looking for a loving home. He absolutely loves people, going outside, and taking long walks. At 7 years old he has so much love to give and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal walking buddy and best-friend. Come meet him at the Conroe animal shelter! 🤎

🐾🎉 TWO HAPPY TAILS TO CELEBRATE! 🎉🐾

Today our hearts are VERY full because two of our long-term pups have finally left the shelter for the best reason possible… THEY’VE BEEN ADOPTED! 🏡❤️

💕 Callie waited almost an entire YEAR for her family to find her.

💕 Pear spent nearly SIX MONTHS waiting for her turn.

And now, their turns have finally come! 🥹🐾

We couldn’t be happier to see these sweet girls heading home with families of their very own. Of course, when you care for a dog for this long, they become part of the shelter family too—so while we’re celebrating, there’s a little piece of our hearts that’s going to miss seeing those sweet faces every day. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to their adopters for choosing adoption and for giving two long-term shelter dogs the happy endings they have waited so patiently for. 🥰

But Callie and Pear aren’t the only ones who have been waiting…

We still have some wonderful long-term guests watching families walk through our doors every day, hoping that today might finally be their day. 🐶💔
