Ford A050803 is a senior dog who recently underwent a leg amputation due to a severe break. The surgery was necessary and successful, and he is now stable—but he is extremely vulnerable in the shelter environment.

He needs a safe, clean, low-stress place to recover. We are very concerned about the risk of infection and delayed healing if he remains here.

mom Calypso A050921 is very sweet and affectionate and a good mom to her babies and does not mind when we touch/move them. Calypso is estimated to be 3 years old. Please contact the shelter directly at 936-522-3550 if you can rescue/foster!
