🐾 we couldn’t do what we do without the love and support from people like Fergthebikedude

I stopped by SPCA Cincinnati today with the last donation for the season. As I walked in, I was greeted by Kat Steiner and the whole on-duty staff who all gave me a round of applause. I was also presented with this nice framed thank you card signed by everyone, including multiple dogs from the shelter(those are real paw prints with paint, very cool). I was not expecting that and it was very nice of them all to do that. Thanks everyone!

Meet Sparco. ❤️

Sparco is 5 years old, a very good boy and, more than anything, a dog who loves being with his people. Shelter life has been especially tough on him. He struggles with separation anxiety and thrives on human connection, so the kennel environment just isn’t where this sweet guy is meant to be.

The good news? Sparco has so much love to give. He’s good with kids, dogs AND cats!
Maybe you work from home. Maybe you’re retired. Maybe you’re a homebody who wouldn’t mind having a four-legged shadow following you from room to room. Sparco is looking for someone who’s around often and can give him the companionship and security he’s craving.

Today, the Sharonville Ohio Police and Fire Departments stopped by SPCA Cincinnati to recognize one of our Humane Agents, Lyndsay, for an incredible act of service.

Just weeks after completing lifesaving CPR training through the Sharonville Fire Department, Lyndsey came upon a man experiencing a cardiac emergency at a local store.

She immediately stepped in and performed CPR, continuing until first responders arrived.

Most importantly, the man survived and has recovered.

We are incredibly proud of Lyndsey for staying calm, taking action, and using her training when it mattered most.

And we are grateful to the Sharonville Fire Department for providing the training that helped make this lifesaving moment possible.
