Ohio Pet Sanctuary We are a cat, pocket pet, bird, and reptile rescue. We do NOT have the facility or financial means to take in dogs yet. Thank you!

Our efforts are funded by our small on-site pet supply store and the generosity of our patrons. The Ohio Pet Sanctuary is a temporary home for animals of varying species who need shelter and food while waiting for their forever home. We believe that not only dogs and cats are in need of a place to stay and provide for multiple species. Please visit our shop at ohiopetsanctuary.com. The purchases you make go to help us provide for the animals in our care.

We're calling out the devils and the angels this week! Moshi is doing very well with opening up with strangers. Ozzy, a hurricane with fur by nature, has earned herself cage rest and a cone.

Did you know that despite having a 15 cat capacity, we currently have 29 cats in our care? We are stretched thin and trying our best. We are a small rescue that, truthfully, often struggles to pay the bills. We thank each and every person who has given an extra $5 or a bag of cat litter to help see us through.
*Not all 29 are in the picture due to cropping of the image

Sweet Oskar was adopted from us in 2018 as a kitten. He is now 9 years old and returned through no fault of his own. He's shy but sweet and was very well loved. We are hoping to find a family that will continue the love and care he has known his whole life.

Happy Bunday from Myra! Myra is a 1-2 year old spayed female bun. She is litter box trained but will urinate in her hay wherever you put it. She needs an experienced bunny owner who knows how to handle her sometimes sassy attitude.
