Last night EIGHT new cats dropped into the lounge. 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀

And that's in addition to the two newer boys pictured here. 🤯 We haven't even had a chance to take pics of the newbies and I'm still trying to remember all of their names. 😆

There's a new tortie, gray girl, a possibly bonded boy/girl pair where the girl is long haired brown and white tabby and boy is a cow cat with hilarious markings who looks like he dipped his mouth in paint, the crazy orange bonded brothers Oscar Meyer and Sunset are back, and brown and white tabby girl Skates is back but we're letting her settle down in back first. Plus Basil's brother Dill joined last minute.

Boys pictured here are floofy black and white boy Bigfoot who took no time to start cuddling in everyone's laps. And black short haired boy Dos who has been in our lounge for a week but just started coming down yesterday when he realized how much he loves bird tv and wand toys.

Sneak peek of two of the new cats in our lounge, Basil and Trudy.

Basil is a black and white boy who we've heard is going to be a crazy one, and Trudy is a cuddly brown tabby girl.

Come join us for Shauri E Gonzalez opening art reception Sat 9/5 3pm-6pm. No ticket required, just show up.

You can meet the artist AND Shauri will have stickers and other goodies available for sale!

As a bonus (since she is a certified cat lover) 30% of goodies purchased during the reception will go towards helping cats!

Soup (sometimes orange collar, sometimes naked) and Cedric (blue collar) are the two orange boys in our front window.

Soup broke a bone a few months ago. It's mostly healed but until the break is 100% closed, the vet doesnt think it's a good idea for him to be in the main lounge with the super high rafters. So he's hanging out in the front pod for now and Cedric is up there temporarily just to keep him company.

Both of these orange boys are super friendly. Soup will definitely need a cat buddy when he gets adopted. Young, clumsy, playful guy. He always spends the first day or so hissing at any new cat, but it's all a show and he just needs to feel the newbie out before they become bffs.

Cedric does great with other cats and gets along with everyone but could be good as an only cat so long as he gets enough human attention. He actually loves being held like a baby over your shoulder. 😽🥰

We currently have three calicos in our lounge and Turtle Sundae here is one of them.

Of the three, she's definitely the calmest and most likely to be napping. 😴😴😴

Loves being pet and will occasionally play but doesn’t need other cats around. She'd be very content with a human cuddle companion.

Turtle's coat is kind of a cross between calico and tabbico. Churro's coat is full calico where the dark patches are black. Lucy's coat is tabbico where the dark patches are striped brown tabby. Turtle is somewhere in the middle where she does have very dark patches, but also some lighter brown stripe areas.

Two new cats in the lounge and a few more on the way!

Lucy took no time at all to start exploring and she realized pretty quickly she's a big fan of catnip hour. 🙃

The 8:30pm lounge hour Wed-Sun is happy hour. Cats get catnip, humans get drink specials. 😻🍸

We're still getting to know Lucy's personality and the second newbie is still settling in but we'll work on getting more pics of both.

First of all, this is Tomathan. He is one of our giant floof potato cats. Super chill. Definitely a lap cat but he's much more selective about which laps he'll lay in than some of our other socialites. Also spends a good amount of his time in the scratcher bowl between the two pink bird chairs.
