October 29th is National Cat Day, and we're READY for it. Are YOU?!

At The Scratching Post CU, all of the cats in our lounge come from our partner non-profit rescues, Valor & CATsNAP!

These rescues are 100% volunteer ran, and do SO many things behind the scenes to get cats ready to be adopted!

Join us on October 29th to support our partner-non profit rescues, and to learn valuable information right from the experts.

Each ticket makes a tangible difference in helping our favorite furry friends.

Todd isn't a gangly teenager anymore.

He's still a goofy little weirdo but he finally filled in so he looks like a complete cat now and not like a rough sketch someone started of a cat. 🙃🐈‍⬛️

Still loves to drown little stuffed toys in water. Still has one adorable little white toe. Still somehow wins over every cat in the lounge.

Lunchbox has gained over 4lbs since he joined the lounge in January. 😳

All he wants to do is sleep, eat, sometimes watch video games...and harass the dilute orange cats in the lounge for some reason. 🫠🤷‍♀️

Maybe he decided he needs to live up to his name. 😆

Lunchbox would be great as your one and only chonk boy, or could do well with other confident cats his size...but maybe not orange cats. 😂

Someone needs to adopt him quick and get this chonk on a diet. 🤰

You might think we just caught Skates like this once. Hunched over like an old dude on his eighth hour of watching reruns with his hand tucked in his waistband.

But you'd be wrong.

This has been an every...single...day, go-to pose for her.

Lil girl missed the memo that she's supposed to be proper and demure. It's all slouching and spread eagle over here. 🦅🤣

Cece was released from jail yesterday and immediately turned into a wild child in the lounge. 🔒🔥😆She arrived a few weeks...

Cece was released from jail yesterday and immediately turned into a wild child in the lounge. 🔒🔥😆

She arrived a few weeks ago and spent a few days hiding behind the pink couch. Not really surprising. Some cats take longer to settle in.

We tried giving her some treats to help her feel safe, and realized she sounded stuffy.

So into a quarantine kennel she went and she WAS NOT happy about it. She basically went full feral for a day or two. 😳😵‍💫

Meds did their thing, she started feeling better, and she did a complete 180. Loved pets, very affectionate, even started batting toys around in her kennel. She also TRASHED her kennel everyday. Lil girl loves to vigorously kick her litter while trying to cover her business. 💩📦

Anyway, finished meds, back in the lounge yesterday, and she's immediately running around, whappy pawing the other cats, playing with every toy she can find, and bolting everytime she hears something new...which is constantly.

Very curious to see what she's like when she's done with her freedom ride. 🤪🤣

Is this the cutest picture ever taken in the history of ever? Possibly.

Churro could be great as your one and only goofball, but also does well around other cats. She takes time to herself when she needs a break from the other lounge cats, and usually spends that time in our utility sink. 🤣

Calm, cute calico who likes to keep you on your toes with the occasional weirdo behavior. Like napping in the utility sink, a sudden fascination with watching the water pass through the gravity feeders REAL close, and posing for ridiculous pics.
