Dog-friendly big puppy 😍

Dice is a 9-month-old good boy in search of a forever or long-term foster home. His current fosters took him home as a Weekend Warrior to give him a break from the shelter. They have already extended it to few weeks, but they have upcoming travel. He will be returned to LifeLine's Community Animal Center this week if he doesn't have somewhere else to go.

While that isn't the end of the world, that means CAC can't pull another dog from Fulton or DeKalb who desperately needs a place to go.

It's surprising no one has scooped him up. Dice is an easy boy!

His fosters: "He's super sweet with everyone and loves attention from both people and other dogs. He would honestly love to have a regular play mate or resident dog to interact with. He's great on the leash and is learning simple commands. Sits nicely and waits for his meals and treats. Likes to cuddle but is also happy lying by himself with his toys.

"He is crate trained and prefers to sleep in there (door open) at night. Potty trained as well. Does well with older kids (not sure about littles), and has lived mostly peacefully with 2 cats that would prefer he not be in their house 😄

"He's not a big fetcher, but does like to chase us with his toys and vice versa. He's got a medium level of energy and can manage it well even with other dogs."

😍 CAT-FRIENDLY and DOG-FRIENDLY 🥰
Desiah has a very serious face, but don’t let it fool you. Her tail is constantly spilling the secret that she is, in fact, VERY happy to be here.

At about 2 years old and 35 pounds, Desiah is the perfect combination of 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗻𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗿. She wants to know what everyone is doing, where everyone is going, and whether she can come along. And after all that important investigating? She is more than happy to curl up with her people.

Desiah can be a little shy and cautious when meeting someone new, but give her a little time and she warms up quickly. Once you’re in her circle, prepare yourself for a playful, affectionate girl who just wants to be around her people.

She 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 and enjoys playing with them, although she is definitely a 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵-𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹.

She also does well with dog-friendly cats, with one very reasonable exception: 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘄𝗹𝘀. Honestly, boundaries are healthy.

And this girl is SMART.

Desiah is already 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 and knows sit, down, leave it, come here, leash walking, and even 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝘆 "𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴" 🎯

Her dream home?

An active person or couple with a fenced yard who wants a dog to actually 𝘥𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩. 𝗛𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴? 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆. 𝗙𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵? 𝗬𝗲𝘀, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲. 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀? 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗽. 𝗦𝗻𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱? 𝗢𝗵, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁. (Though she is not a fan of kids thus far.)

Desiah isn't looking for a perfect person. She's looking for 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲.

And once she decides you're hers, that happy tail is going to tell you exactly how she feels. ❤️
