We have posted this sweet girl here time and time again with no interest. And we just don’t get it.

Surely someone wants Doris. This sweet girl is an amazing dog.

Meet Doris, aka “Tater Tot,” your new favorite little shadow with a big personality.

At 5 years old and 15 lbs, this mini schnauzer is equal parts playful, affectionate, and just a little sassy. She loves hanging out with her foster siblings, whether they bark or meow, and is always ready to join the fun. She is also quite the chatterbox and will happily “tell you” all about her day.

Doris is a total sweetheart who loves being close to her people. She follows her foster mom from room to room and hands out kisses like it is her full-time job. She is crate trained, doing well with potty training, and eager to please as she continues learning.

She is still working on her leash skills, so a fenced yard would be ideal for her to safely explore and build confidence.

Doris is heartworm positive, but her treatment is fully covered through a local vet partner as part of her adoption, so she will need to stay local to the Atlanta area.

If you are looking for a fun, loving, slightly chatty sidekick who will keep you smiling, Tater Tot might just be your girl.
