August Raffle for the Pet Food Pantry!

It's overwhelming trying to feed our friends lately and it's not going to get better. The Holidays are fast approaching and our biggest season of giving just got hobbled unexpectedly by a partner in our network. After almost a year, a nearby box store that donated to our network decided that destroying and throwing away dog/cat food was preferable to feeding neighbors in their community who needed help. You read that right. They decided to slash bags and toss it all in the dumpster. While we are eternally grateful for the support they offered us, it definitely leaves us with a HUGE hole to fill. It will be difficult to do at a lot higher cost.

Right up until August, we were giving out over 500 pounds of dry dog/cat food and countless essentials like harnesses, shampoos, dental items, jackets, treats, supplements, toys and more a month.

The lost kibble donations means basically two things:

Fundraise harder.
I abhor fundraising. I absolutely hate asking for money at any time, from anyone. I loathe the fundraisers every month because it means I'm asking yet again, in a time where everyone is coming up short, to help strangers feed their pets. The two reasons I do it is because our community wanted it and because I loathe not being able to help starving animals worse then begging for money.

Or

Stop hosting and channel our efforts into a bigger group. This option looks like less fundraising, less community help and more single pop up days if I have food/items available. We WILL continue to provide disaster boxes. This option also means more saying 'No, I'm sorry, we can't help you'.

I have commitment to our Pantry through December. We will still offer kibble and supplies as long as we have it, although the quantity will be much reduced per person so we can accomodate as many as we can as we navigate these changes.

Includes a 3 hour bank of private coaching time (in either half hour or one hour slots) and a 1 month sub to our group socialization classes.

$700 (sale price, reg $900)
Includes a 6 hour bank of private coaching time, (in either half hour, forty five minute or one hour slots) and a 3 month sub to our group socialization classes, including student field trips, student play when appropriate and unpaid student workshops. Video conferences are available for this option.

$1,000 (sale price, reg $1,200)
Includes a 10 hour bank of private coaching time, (in either half hour, forty five minute or one hour slots) and a 6 month sub to all of our group classes, student workshops (doesn't include paid special events), student playgroups and all student events where appropriate. Video conferencing is available for this option.

Current ongoing classes:
Group classes are held at 65 Redbrook on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday mornings at 9:30a and 10:30a.

Weather appropriate, optional, student field trips on Sundays will start in July.

Pack walks are on Monday and Wednesday nights at 6p and Sundays at 11a!

Please note:
I'll be on vacation from July 11th to July 18th. Classes will resume on my return!
