We are so proud of all of our attendees today. We had Mack, River, Chip, Lorenzo, Finn, Fedde and Vinnie working on walking on a loose leash and commands around other dogs and people. The wind was an added distraction. Everyone did great!! Looking forward to planning another walk soon. Stay tuned! #

On Saturday, Hazzard and Alicia had the pleasure of trialing and competing in the sport of PSA (Protection Sports Association) where Hazzard earned his first leg of his PSA1! Hazzard earned first place on Saturday and High Obedience for the weekend! He has to earn 1 more leg of his PSA1 to earn the title. Hopefully in September! Alicia could not be more proud of Hazzard 🧡

Rosie is working on the Place command today. She’s a nervous girl, especially when she’s not around her big sister Riley. The picture on the left looks like a smile right? It’s not. She’s very tense and stress panting. Her tongue isn’t hanging low it’s also tense. You can see the crinkles in the side of her face because her muscles are so tight. The picture on the right is after she held the command for some duration. She relaxed enough to allow her body some relief. Teaching the dog to regulate her own energy is the goal here.

📣 Training Alumni Pack Walk is BACK! 📣

Pack Walk Details
When: Saturday, June 20th at 10am
Where: A Dog's World Unleashed
What: A pack walk with other people and dogs around ADWU and the train station

•Must have previously completed any of our training programs (board and train, bootcamp, private lessons, or CGC class)
•We will be outside meeting in the parking lot next to the building
•$50 per dog
•Bring your training collar, leash, and lots and lots of treats

If you can't make it to this one, we will be hosting more in the future! ☀️
