Being a business owner isn’t always the picture people have in their heads. Some mornings the alarm goes off at 5 a.m., and by 5:30 I’m already cleaning up dog p**p and p*e, getting everything ready, and starting a full day of work.

There are long hours, early mornings, and plenty of things people never see. But I wouldn’t trade it. I love working with these dogs, watching them learn, and helping their families build a better life together.

People say, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” I don’t know if that’s completely true. There’s still a lot of work, but loving it makes me want to keep showing up. I choose this every day, and I’m grateful for the amazing people who trust us with their dogs and support Evanichko K9.

Somewhere around 1,300 miles for one very important pickup. Worth every mile.

Introducing Odin to the Evanichko K9 family! He made the trip all the way from Clarendon, Texas, and we’re excited to have him home. Willow has her job retrieving, and Odin has an important job ahead of him too—but we’ll keep that a secret for now. Welcome to the family, buddy!

For me, dog training has to prepare a dog for real life. That means learning to walk through the neighborhood, meet new people, and be comfortable around the everyday sounds and activity of a home.

Our dogs train alongside our family because that’s the kind of environment many of them will return to. I want the skills we build here to matter when they’re back home with the people they love.

🐾 Breed of the Week: Great Pyrenees!

Big hearts, fluffy coats, and selective hearing. 😂 Bred to guard livestock, these dogs are protective, independent, and often affectionate with their families. Training takes patience and consistency!

I started with one wiener dog. Now I’m building an army. Their legs are short, their morale is high, and they’re already plotting to take over the couch.
