$7500, Amish built Kennel. 10 by 15. The kennel was built last year and is in great shape. It is well insulated (flooring, ceiling, and walls) and does have an AC unit to run during the hotter months.
(Electricity is already set up). Stop out to see it.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who showed love and support during this difficult time as we celebrated the life of Allison Marie Marcum.

To our dear friends, family, and Allison’s wonderful clients — thank you for the outpouring of kindness, stories, and memories shared during her calling hours and funeral. It was truly moving to see just how many lives she touched, especially through her passion for training dogs and helping others.

A special thank you to Claire Moyer, owner of Beauty Garden located in Laurelville, for the care and love you put into making Allison look absolutely beautiful — her hair, makeup, and nails were done with such grace and compassion.

Thank you to the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home for handling every detail with professionalism and warmth.

Also a special thank you to Allison’s Aunt Patti Morrow of St. Paul Lutheran Church for the beautiful service and support.

We also want to thank Maggie, Ryan & Lucky, as well as Allison’s dad, brother Chris Marcum, and sister-in-law Tiffany Marcum, for their heartfelt words and strength in speaking during the service.

And to everyone who provided food and comfort afterward — your generosity meant the world to us.

Seeing the love and respect for Allison from so many people was a true reminder of the difference she made in the lives around her. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. 💜🐾

Now that the funeral has passed, our family is beginning the process of settling Allison’s estate and taking care of the many things that need to be handled. There will be an estate sale in the near future, but we ask for patience as we work to get everything organized and ensure all of Allison’s dogs are safely and lovingly rehomed.

We’ve been working hard to find a solution, but it’s time to ask for help. Due to the heartbreaking passing of their owner, Allison, we’re seeking a safe and loving home for two wonderful dogs — Macy (13 years old) and Mason (11 years old)

We are hoping to find a home that can keep them together if possible to love them through this next chapter.

This is a post that we never thought we would have to make. Unfortunately the owner Allison Marcum of Marcum K9 Obediance passed away yesterday morning. Our deepest condolences go out to the Marcum family. 😢 One thing we can say and agree on is the love and passion she had for her business, her fur babies and all families she helped in so many ways over the years with their dogs. She will be missed very much.

Please be patient with us as we process all of this. With the circumstances, the business will no longer be open. If you had a dog coming for services, please make other arrangements. With any other questions and concerns, please reach out.

-Getting a purebred dog is not the same as a well-bred dog. There are so many backyard breeders breeding purebred registered dogs with huge structural, temperment, and health problems.
-good structure on a dog is important. Poorly structured animals will have adverse health effects from them having to improperly carry their body overtime time compared to a well structured animal.
-A well bred dog will come from dogs who have been proven in the conformation ring or working lines, to have good body structure according to their breed standard, they have good correct temperaments, and are fully health tested to the breed recommended standards (in the US this is done my OFA to Chic requirements).
-By supporting a byb just because they are breeding purebred dogs for cheap, that is just adding to the overpopulation and unhealthy dog problem we have today.
-please shop or adopt responsibly and don’t support a byb or puppy mill
