We are sorry for our late Meet the Team Monday! Sometimes life just gets away from ya!

We would like to introduce you to our next team member, Sydney! Sydney is a Board Member and our Director of Marketing. Sydney has been in the animal welfare industry for over 3 years. Sydney's passions include feral cat advocacy, vet care education, and building connections with people. Sydney is currently in graduate school to get her Master's of Social Work at SFA State University! She plans to use her passion for connections to people to (hopefully) change individual lives. Sydney's theme song is Non-Stop from the Hamilton Soundtrack

♥😸Meet Newport!!

Newport is estimated to be 6 months old and was rescued after he was facing immediate euthanasia due to being apart of a feral cat colony.

The catch? He's not feral, AT ALL! Newport was immediately a sweet, friendly, and loving boy who was in a very unfortunate situation. Luckily, we had the finances to take him in, and now he is in foster with one of our team members!

Still not convinced? Newport has gotten along with a Maine C**n, and a Corgi in his fosters home, so much so that he enjoys playing with them!

Newport will be finishing his ear mite medication soon, and is otherwise a very happy and healthy boy! He is scheduled to be neutered on 10/27, and will be available for adoption after.

Don't worry, if your interested you don't need to wait! We are happy to place him in foster with a potential adopter until his neuter date!

Don't miss out on this sweet, loving, playful kitty who deeply enjoys making biscuits constantly, and is obsessed with his humans!

♥ ADOPTION ALERT♥

We have a 3 way adoption alert from the past few weeks! It's been a busy time for us but we wouldn't change it for the world if it means our kiddos are finding loving, forever homes!

Caesar: Caesar was apart of our "C-Crew" litter transfer! He has a new kitty sister who was also adopted from a local shelter! We've been told they are getting along great!

Cheese: Cheese was also apart of our "C-Crew" litter transfer! She has a kitty brother and is loving life with him and their mom!

Tigger: Tigger was pulled during our rescue operation of 10 cats. She found her forever home at our Pet Supplies Plus event after her mom came in and fell in love immediately. She has 2 dog and 2 cat siblings, along with her human family. Tigger gets regular cuddles and snuggles from her mom!

Carrot is in foster to adopt and will hopefully find her forever home next!!

We love seeing our furry kiddos find their forever homes! Don't worry, these kitties went quick but we have another one available, Newport!

We want to thank our adopters and donors for their support for these, and all of our adopted pets. Sometimes rescues can forget that adopters are just as important as donors or fosters, and we truly thank them for adopting from a small rescue! Our donors allow us to continue to grow, purchase supplies, and help pets that are not surrenders, or owners who cannot afford surrender fees.

We Thank You!

Good evening, APDAH family!

For every Monday in October, we will be introducing our Board of Directors to you! Today, meet our founder and Board President, Jazz!
Jazz has been rescuing animals for many years prior to founding our rescue and currently works in the animal industry. Jazz has a passion for misunderstood dogs and behavioral rehabilitation.
Jazz has fostered dogs in the past as well as trained dogs and behaviorally rehabilitated them. Jazz is working on completing her grooming certification and has the goal of completing her dog training certification.
One of Jazz's main inspirations for the rescue is her dog, Buster, who sadly passed away. Buster's likeness can be seen pictured in our logo. He was deeply loved and his memory provides motivation to Jazz to continue rescue work.
Jazz's theme song is "Welcome to the Show" by Cojo and she enjoys NASCAR and building cool things like mechanical wings in her free time.

Give Jazz a shoutout or hello in the comments below!
