Meet Minuet, Poco, Allegra and Melody!

We’re starting to see kittens arrive at our adoption center! These adorable kittens were just spayed/neutered yesterday and will need a few days to recover, so they won’t be ready to go to their new homes until after the weekend.

If you’re interested in adopting, we encourage you to stop by and meet them now. You can spend some time getting to know them and complete the adoption paperwork. Once they’ve had time to recover, you’ll be able to bring them home.

If you are interested in any of these kittens, you can give us a call 716–822-4910 to make sure that they are still available and we would be glad to let you know if we have any other kittens up for adoption as well.

On Friday, this new mom gave birth to six kittens under a set of stairs. Thankfully, the homeowner rescued the family, brought them inside, and tucked them into a cozy basket with soft blankets and a heating pad to keep them warm and safe. 💕

She was able to bring them to us yesterday, and today they will be heading straight into foster care, where they can continue to receive the care and support they need.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to help us during this busy kitten season. Whether you’ve made a monetary donation through the our recent fundraising post or purchased an item from our wish list, we truly appreciate your support. Every contribution helps us provide food, supplies, and medical care for families like this one. We couldn’t do it without you. ❤️🐾

Kitten season started early this year. For those who may not know, "kitten season" is the time of year when the days start getting longer and unspayed, female cats begin having kittens. Many of these cats are either born outside, abandoned, or allowed to roam without being spayed. While we often see the pregnant moms, there are also many unneutered male cats out there continuing the cycle. Rescue groups and volunteers work hard to help by trapping, rescuing, spaying, and neutering these homeless cats.

This year started with three tiny kittens who were found without their mother. They needed to be bottle fed around the clock. Thankfully, we have a volunteer who is able to help babies like these, and we are always looking for other experienced bottle feeders to join our Tabby Town Team.

The 2026 kitten season floodgates are now wide open, and it has been nonstop. We have taken in pregnant moms, motherless kittens, and even 13 kittens at once between two mothers! We are so grateful and appreciative of our foster families who go above and beyond, and we would not be able to undertake the rescues that we have been without them.

We also can't forget about the many requests we receive for stray cats. Many of these cats had homes at one time, and may have been abandoned, dumped, or simply lost, with no one coming forward to claim them.

In addition, we receive many requests to take in personal pets. We always try to help when we can, but understandably the homeless cats and urgent rescue situations often need to come first.

We are sharing photos of some of the moms and babies we have taken in so far. Our kittens are not spayed or neutered until they reach at least 3 pounds, so they remain in foster care until they are old enough and ready to find their forever homes.

As a non-profit organization that is volunteer based, everything we do is made possible through the support and generosity of our followers and community. Whether it's donating items from our wish list or making a monetary donation, we truly appreciate any help you are able to give.

Little miracles were born just in time for Memorial Day weekend. A young mom herself, GreyLynn had six precious newborns throughout the night.🍼 Foster mom Marissa was there to help her every step of the way. They are all healthy and unique in their own colors. Sure to have loving little hearts, just like their mom. GreyLynn is just happy to rest. Another sweet stray out of the rain today.💦 Kitten season is upon us and we will be sharing many of their rescue stories over the next few days.

Tabby Town will be closed this Sunday and Monday, to catch up and settle everyone in. We are also painting the floors and sprucing up the place up! Enjoy your weekend, with purrs of appreciation always.🍼🩶
