From being dumped in a parking lot outside with the carrier left wide open and a name tag hanging from it, to being rescued and brought to our shelter. 💔🥺
This poor baby was welcomed with open arms to our shelter this past Saturday.
And we cannot believe someone would do this to him, or any pet.
We were told by his rescuer that he was posted on Facebook with the first photo. Immediately, they went to rescue this baby and found him right away.
He ran right up to them and was so happy to be found and saved. 🥺
Then he was brought to us. And we immediately fell in love with him.
We decided to name him Silly Goose, because he’s already such got a silly and adorable personality.
Making it even harder to understand why he was dumped.
Silly Goose did not have a microchip so we are unable to trace a potential owner, but he is neutered.
But he is now safe in our shelter, and that’s all that matters. He’s soaking up all the love from our staff and loves to be held and given hugs.
He even started making biscuits when first being held by one of our staff members. 🥹🥹🥹
These situations truly break our hearts. But we are so glad there are kind people out there who save pets like Silly Goose from these terrible situations.
♥️
And now we will be helping him on his journey back to happiness and a new home.
