It was a bittersweet visit at Rush University Medical Center for therapy dogs Sawyer & Schatzi. Sawyer & her mom Megan have been regularly visiting Rush for the last few years and it was her last visit there on Monday. She will continue to visit but as she gets older she likes the kind of visits where she gets to be in mostly one spot and kids read to her or others come to her to visit. Megan & Sawyer have been mentoring Paula & Schatzi and also Kaylee & Maverick the last few visits! Our visits at Rush are very special, visiting the wonderful pediatric patients & their families, as well as visiting the fabulous staff! Thank you Megan & Sawyer for the many visits, smiles, hugs & healing you have brought to so many Rush patients, families & staff! Rush University System for Health

✨Gong Ceremony Healing at SOUL Harbour Ranch ✨
Today, SOUL Harbour Ranch was filled with beautiful energy, peaceful vibrations, and moments of deep meditation as we hosted a sacred Gong Ceremony led by Teresa Woltkamp and her daughter, Kara. 💖
The powerful sounds and vibrations of the gongs created a peaceful space for relaxation, reflection, and healing, allowing us to slow down, be present, and nourish our SOULs. 🧘‍♀️✨
Following the ceremony, Teresa and Kara treated everyone to an incredible spread of healthy, nourishing foods — the perfect way to continue caring for our minds, bodies, and SOULs! 🥑🍓🥗
What a beautiful reminder that healing comes in many forms — through sound, stillness, connection, and the love we share with one another. 💕
Thank you, Teresa and Kara, for sharing your gifts and bringing such a special experience to SOUL Harbour Ranch!

What a great day of mock testing/training and “ears up” for Charmer & Prancer! We have more horse testing in 2 weeks so lots of distractions, stays, loud yelling, walker & wheelchair visits and HUGS! Plus a little time to enjoy the beauty of fall and the warm sunshine.

Congratulations to our 2 new therapy dog teams, Kaylee & Jack (therapy dog Maverick’s brother!) and Liz & Millie! They passed their Pet Partners testing today and can’t wait to start visiting with us! Both teams trained with us this summer, with our amazing friend & dog trainer Lu Anne Smith, thanks to a $10,000 grant from 100 Women Who Care N.W. Suburban Chicago that covered training this year and next year!
