Thor’s Blues and Lucky’s Rainbow I spread out the ribbons from this weekend and had to laugh. Thor’s are blue, of course. Blue has always been his color, and he looks so handsome with it. 💙 Three first places and three new scent work titles for my boy!

Lucky, Thor’s son, brought home a much more colorful collection: two second places, a third, a fourth, and two new titles. He clearly didn’t want his dad to have all the fun. 😊

I’m proud of what they earned, but I keep thinking about the searches themselves—watching each of them work and knowing we figured things out together. That’s the part I love most. It was a busy weekend, and such a good one with my boys. ❤️

I thought it meant we were supposed to play together. He has officially claimed it as his personal property and has absolutely no intention of sharing — not even with the person who paid for it. 😂🐾

When the garden decides it’s harvest time… all at once! 🍅🥒🧅🌿😂

This is what August looks like in my house. ❤️
Tomatoes everywhere, cucumbers by the basket, zucchini that apparently grew overnight, fresh onions, dill, mint and herbs… straight from the garden into the kitchen.

I think I may have planted just a little too much this year. 😂 But there is something so satisfying about growing your own food, walking outside with a basket, and coming back with all of this.

Now comes the real work — pickling, preserving, cooking… and figuring out what on earth I’m going to do with ALL THESE TOMATOES! 🍅🤣

Garden-to-table season is officially in full swing. ❤️🌱

My boy Thor ❤️🐾

A few moments from our last NW3 trial in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Thor really gave me his best. He worked with focus, determination, and that wonderful nose of his. I couldn’t ask for more from him. ❤️

This time, the handler didn’t read everything quite correctly. 🙋‍♀️😂 But that’s part of this journey. Every search teaches us something, every trial makes us a stronger team, and there is always another opportunity to do better.

So proud of you, Thor. We keep learning, we keep training, and we keep going. 🥰
