What a wonderful day at our 06/20 adoption event at Tomlinson's on Burnet Road. this past weekend!

We are thrilled to share that four adorable kittens found their forever homes during the event. Seeing these little ones begin their next chapter with loving families is what rescue is all about.

We also had the pleasure of meeting so many cat lovers, supporters, and potential adopters who stopped by to learn more about Austin Siamese Rescue and the cats in our care. Every conversation, cuddle, and share helps us continue our mission of finding loving homes for cats in need.

A special thank-you to Tomlinson's for hosting us and to everyone who came out to support rescue. We couldn't do this without our dedicated fosters, volunteers, adopters, and community supporters.

URGENT: Experienced Fosters Needed!

Austin Siamese Rescue is being inundated with requests to help cats in need. Every day, we receive pleas to take in kittens, adult cats, and even cats facing euthanasia in overcrowded shelters. The need is heartbreaking, and right now our biggest limitation isn't willingness, it's available foster homes.

Fostering with Austin Siamese Rescue is a truly rewarding experience because our fosters are an important part of the team. As a foster, you'll be involved in decisions regarding your foster cat's care, progress, and adoption journey. Your observations and insights help us find the best possible forever home for each cat.

ASR is a small, volunteer, driven rescue dedicated to saving Siamese cats and their companions throughout Texas. Our cats are cared for in loving foster homes, not shelters, and every foster home we gain means more lives we can save.

If you have experience fostering cats and room in your heart and home, we'd love to talk with you. Whether it's a playful kitten, a senior cat, or a cat that simply needs a second chance, you can make all the difference.

This handsome 6-year-old seal point Siamese is the total package, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. Nicknamed “Motormouth” for his incredibly loud purr, Peanut loves attention, laser pointer playtime, and giving sweet grooming “baths” to his favorite person.

Peanut would thrive as your one-and-only soulmate cat. Once he bonds with you, he becomes a deeply loyal companion and best friend.

He can be a little shy with new people at first, but give him a few treats and a laser pointer and his playful side quickly shines through.

Meet Sushi 🍣

Sushi is an 11m seal point Siamese with major “Feel It Still” energy. She’s outgoing, playful, frisky, and loves other cats. Ready to vibe with you like it’s 1986.

She loves to follow her foster mom around the house to "assist" with chores. Sushi snuggle sessions have quickly become a favorite activity in the foster household. She likes to run after toys, wrestle, and jump for string toys. She has such a loving personality and really wants someone to be HER human. She has done very well with foster family's 7 year old.

Sushi is diabetic, but she’s honestly very easy to care for. She eats diabetic food and takes oral medication mixed right into her meals like a champ.

She keeps getting overlooked because of her extra need, but she’s still just a happy, fun little cat that wants to love you forever.

At just 11 months old, these bonded boys are looking for a forever home together where they can continue being the perfect duo.

Gus is the outgoing adventurer, sweet, playful, smart, and full of personality. He loves people and is always ready for fun, affection, and companionship. Gary is the softer soul of the pair, a handsome diluted tabby with a huge heart, loud happy purrs, and a cuddly side that shines once he feels comfortable. Though he may be a little shy at first, his loving personality quickly wins everyone over.

Together, they balance each other perfectly. Whether they’re chasing toys, exploring the house, cuddling with their humans, or curling up together for a nap, Gus and Gary share a special bond that is impossible not to fall in love with.
