Meet Moose!

Meet Moose! This brave boy suffered a spinal injury due to a car accident late last year. His neurology team did not think he would walk again, but he made a remarkable recovery after spending weeks in a full body cast and 2 months on bedrest. He was cleared by the vet in February, stopped his medications, and is now allowed to run and play with other dogs! He just can't have large dogs jumping on his spine. He is supposed to go on as many walks as possible to strengthen his back legs. Before his accident, Moose was in training to become a therapy dog. He started training with Dog Training Elite CT and was doing really well! Moose loves watching birds and swimming. His energy level is moderate- relaxed at home and energetic on walks. He loves cuddling! Moose is good at communicating his needs. He will stand by the door when he needs to go out. He’s friendly with all people he's met, including kids, but he gets very excited and is still working on not jumping, so he should be in a home with older kids. He’s a very quick learner and trainable. He’s good with sit, stay, down, place at home. He’s also great with 'leave it' in all settings. He would absolutely benefit from a home where his owner has the time to continue his basic skills and work on following his commands when distracted.

PLEASE CONTACT MICHELLE AT [email protected] IF YOU CAN HELP.

Riley is the kind of dog who makes himself right at home wherever he goes. He’s incredibly affectionate, has excellent house manners, and truly loves being part of his people’s day. Handling is no problem for this guy—paw wipes, ear cleanings, and all the gentle care that comes with being a loved family dog are totally his thing. And don’t worry, he’s always happy to return the favor with plenty of snuggles.

Riley enjoys getting out and about for walks and strolls nicely on leash, but once he’s had his exercise, he’s more than content to settle in for a long couch hang with his family. He’s doing great with the other dogs in his foster home and has been friendly with dogs he’s met on walks. When his people head out, Riley is perfectly fine staying home on his own—no crate needed.

This food‑loving boy is treat‑motivated and eager to learn, making him a great candidate for fun training sessions and new tricks. He also takes his backyard patrol duties seriously and will happily chase off any squirrels that dare to visit. However, Riley has made it clear that cats are not his cup of tea, so a cat‑free home is a must.
Riley’s ideal home would be one where he can enjoy daily walks, some playtime, and lots of quality couch time with his humans. Because of his size and strength, we recommend a home without very small children or tiny pets.

To sum it up: Riley is a loving, well‑mannered, easygoing companion who will make any family incredibly lucky to have him. For more information on Riley, please contact [email protected].

I'm Buster, a playful pup who loves to romp and explore, but also loves when it's time to snuggle. I'm super affectionate and love giving and receiving love. Belly rubs? Yes, please! Cuddles? You bet! I'm also a friendly fella and get along with my furry friends.

I'm deaf, but it doesn't slow me down one bit. I'm just starting to learn hand signals for sit and down, and I'm eager to learn more.

At about a year old I long for a family that can keep up with my playful side and give me all the love and attention a puppy needs. Let's put a smile on each other's faces!
