Do you possibly have an opossum release spot on your property? Contact Primarily 'Possums !

Freedom for 5 more opossums! I am still looking with hope in my heart for release spots closer than 90 minutes away. Otherwise i have to put the dogs in daycare and have someone babysit the smallest opossums. I don't remember it being this challenging in past years. I would happily turn this over to a volunteer if someone had time and could follow instructions.
Maybe that is you?

The Stankiest of Legs has been dropped at Sycamore Veterinary Services to be ✨ neutered ✨ today!
Next week I’m working a convention in Anaheim, and we tweaked my tickets so I can drop this little goober off at his forever home in Portland on the way. We are going to miss him very much, but ten cats is our hard limit- and he’ll be living with one of my dearest friends and shall remain my nephew forever.

Two new cutie patootie tuxedo kittens will be arriving at Pet Supplies Plus of Athens this afternoon- they’d love to meet you! Whether you’re looking to adopt or just need a kitty snuggle, stop by Pet Supplies Plus and give them some love.

Also also, the shed has POWER!!! But uh, it cost $1470 for the final hookup, so… it’ll have to be a popup shop for a while longer, because WOOF. We also have more spays and neuters coming up soon (at least three in the next couple weeks but I think I’m forgetting someone) and Spaghetti needs surgery for his hernia.

I made my first actual YouTube video- just a rant about why blind cats are great and a plea to find Muenster a home.

I'm not YouTube savvy but trying to learn- any subscriptions to our page would be greatly appreciated! Until now we've just been sharing our Instagram reels there as well.

Be that weird guy who pulled over and checked on the animal that was hit by a car to see if it was still alive and needed help.

Be the construction worker that left work early while his buddies laughed at him because he found an injured squirrel and wanted to get it to safety.

Be the irritating woman who isn’t afraid to stop traffic because a mama duck is trying to cross the road with her babies.

Be the gross person who isn’t disgusted by a mangy fox and sees it as an animal that needs help from the right people.

Be the aggravating informant who tells the guy buying rat poison what it does to our local wildlife.

Be the uncool kid who stops his friends from trying to hurt a snake they found for fun.

When we start feeling bad or embarrassed for showing EMPATHY toward another and trying to SAVE A LIFE, then we have let the opinions of others mean WAY too much.

Never apologize for being a good and caring human being. There aren’t enough in this world.

Well, I uh, ✨ drastically ✨ underestimated Deafy here’s size and age (working title, bear with us)- he’s a tiny cloud approximately the size of two fists (and I have small hands) and maybe 4.5 weeks old. Very tiny boy. Definitely actually a cloud. He is so soft and poofy, I bet all the money I don’t have that he’s going to be a long haired fluff monster like Smudge. Maybe he’ll grow out of it, but he sure has some luscious locks.

He has a bit of an upper respiratory infection (of course, shocker) and goopy eyeballs. His lovely foster will taking him in to Sycamore in the next day or two. He’s also, of course, 100% definitely deaf. All white cat, two blue eyes? They’re deaf, hands down- unless they’re albino, like Ash, but that’s reeeally rare. Of course he’s a kitten, they all have blue eyes, but he’s probably going to keep them.

Also can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that the song auto-selected by IG for this photo was called “unemployed cat”? They… were not wrong.
