For our followers that live in Polk County... heads up! Feb. 9-10 is community / feral cats days for their TNR (trap-neuter-return) program!
UPDATE: ALL SPOTS ARE FILLED! If you are a community cat caregiver in Polk County and still need TNR services, please reach out to [email protected].
TNR OPENINGS AVAILABLE! Attention, community cat caregivers: Alley Cat Allies and the ARL are collaborating to hold a FREE TNR (trap-neuter-return) event on Feb. 9-10 for community cats in Polk County. Alley Cat Allies is covering all costs of spay and neuter surgeries, and more, through its Cats Are Family, Too™ — Keeping Families Together™ program. 50 spots are available, so sign up quickly!
During the appointments, cats will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and ear-tipped. Caregivers will then return them to their outdoor homes so they can continue living their best lives … without reproducing.
Again, TNR appointments over the two days are completely free to community cat caregivers in Polk County thanks to Alley Cat Allies. Spots are limited, so sign up today at https://ow.ly/Fnme50Y4EMH.
