Meet Pear 🍐

Growing. Thriving. And cute as a button.
At about 8 weeks old, little Pear is blossoming into the sweetest little girl. She has a beautiful soft gray coat with delicate patches of cream and a face that somehow manages to look both serious and completely adorable at the same time.

Pear is growing stronger every day and doing wonderfully. She and her sister Peach are getting ready for their spay surgeries, and then these little fruit sisters will be ready for the biggest adventure yet: forever homes. 🩷

Meet Peach 🍑

Some kittens are cute. Peach is absolutely captivating.

This gorgeous little calico is about 8 weeks old, with the sweetest face and a pair of dreamy turquoise eyes that seem almost impossible to look away from. She’s tiny, beautiful, curious, and just beginning to show us the little personality tucked inside all that calico color.

Peach and her sister are preparing for their spay surgeries and will soon be ready to take the next big step: finding their forever homes. 💕

For now, we’re simply excited to introduce her. Something tells us this little Peach is going to have quite a few admirers.

Meet Licorice, Lollipop & Lemon Drop — two little boys and one little girl with candy-sweet names and plenty of kitten mischief to go around.

They’re getting ready for their spay/neuter appointments, which means the next big thing on their calendar is finding forever homes.

🖤 Meet Gus: Tiny Tuxedo, Tiny Tyrant 🤍

Remember Goopy-Eyed Gus? Well, those days are behind him, and apparently Gus has decided his difficult beginning entitles him to rule the household. 😂

At about 3½ months old, Gus is a tiny tuxedo tyrant with a very impressive combination of sweetness, confidence, and kitten-sized authority. He’s already neutered and will be ready for adoption soon.

Gus is incredibly loving and affectionate, wonderfully well-rounded, and clearly enjoys the company of other cats. He’ll cuddle up with a buddy one minute and then remind everyone exactly who is in charge the next.

His demands are fairly reasonable: snuggles, snacks, playtime, and complete control of your heart.

McGyver is just one of the guys. Easygoing, friendly and happy to be part of whatever is going on, this sweet orange boy simply wants to belong.

He enjoys people, gets along with dogs and cats, and would love a home where he can truly be part of the family. He’s the calmer of the McBros, with an affectionate, go-with-the-flow personality that makes him pretty easy to love.

McGyver isn’t looking to run the show—he just wants a place in it. 🐾🧡

🍑 APRICOT & NECTARINE — TWO BROTHERS, ONE HOME 🍑

We’re learning a little more about these two sweet boys, and their story makes us even more thankful they found their way to safety.

Apricot & Nectarine are bonded brothers, estimated to be about 4–5 months old. It appears they were dumped together in a rural area, left to figure things out on their own. Thankfully, a kind person in the community noticed them, stepped forward and made sure these babies got help.

Through whatever happened before they were found, they had each other. And we’d really like to make sure they get to keep it that way. 🧡

We are looking for one home willing to welcome both boys together. We would also consider a foster-to-adopt situation for someone who wants a little time to make sure they’re the right fit.

Two kittens may sound like twice the commitment, but with bonded brothers, it also means a built-in best friend, playmate and snuggle buddy. 🍑🍑

If you have room in your home and heart for Apricot AND Nectarine, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

🐾 A Labor of Love 🐾

This Labor Day, we’re thinking about a different kind of work.

The 2 a.m. bottle feedings.
The laundry that never seems to end.
The miles driven for one tiny life.
The medications, the messy puppy pens, the adoption events, the TNR nights—and the homes opened to “just one more.”

Animal rescue is work.

But somewhere along the way, the work becomes love.

Today, we celebrate every foster, volunteer, transporter, veterinary partner, adopter and supporter who gives their time, their hands and their heart to help an animal find their way home.

Some of the most meaningful work in this world leaves paw prints behind. 🐾

We’re looking for a foster for two gorgeous orange Norwegian Forest Cats, and we’re really hoping the right person sees this.

They don’t need anything fancy. They just need a safe, quiet place to land, someone who will give them a little patience, and the chance to feel comfortable and cared for.

They’re big, beautiful, fluffy boys who deserve to know that they’re safe. 🐾

If you have a spare room, a little extra space in your home, and some love to give, could you be the person who says yes to them?

What an incredible way to start September. We’ve already raised $1,055 of our $2,000 goal!
