🎃👻 **Come Join us Again for our Spooktacular Annual Halloween Horseback Adventure!** 👻🎃

We are excited to announce Better Days’ third annual Fall Halloween horseback adventure at our farm in Addison, VT. This event is in an effort to raise funds for upcoming improvements in 2027. These improvements are to help the students continue their education with their equine friends and to make their experience on the ranch the best it can be. Get ready for a thrilling adventure this Halloween season! Saddle up one of our four legged companions and experience the magic of fall with our enchanting Halloween Horse Adventure. Whether you’re an experienced rider or a beginner, this is the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery by yourself or with the family while celebrating the spookiest time of the year!

**What to Expect:**

- **Creepy Trails:** Explore our scenic pathways with one of the horses from Better Days Ranch experiencing paths adorned with Halloween decorations, from spooky lanterns to giant inflatables to a spooky themed cemetery.
- **Hot Cocoa & Treats:** After the ride, warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy some delicious Halloween-themed snacks.
- **Family-Friendly Fun:** Bring the whole family! We’ll have activities for kids, including apple bobbing with horses, petting area with the ponies and the rest of the horses from Better Days with an excellent photo opp, and more!

Fridays, Saturdays, and select few Sundays throughout the month of October. Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today! Gather your friends and family for a memorable Halloween experience on horseback. Don’t miss out on the fun—come ride with us and make some unforgettable memories!

🏇 For Your Consideration: "Copper" a.k.a. Meatball – 2008 Appendix Gelding – Addison, VT 🐴

Meet Meatball, a 16hh 2008 Appendix gelding with the heart of a seasoned athlete and the personality of your favorite barn buddy. Registered as Copper, this charming gelding has done a bit of everything and is now looking for his next person to enjoy the ride with.

💫 Highlights:

• Stands at 16hh – athletic and eye-catching

• Former 3' jumper with plenty of experience under saddle

• Most currently was shown in local WT classes with an adult beginner

• UTD on everything: Coggins, rabies, dental, feet, and all regionally appropriate vaccinations

• Sound on Equioxx, as recommended by vet due to age and previous jumping career

• Currently shod but has also done well barefoot

• Lives primarily on turnout with free-choice hay, some grain – relatively easy keeper.

🐎 Under-saddle:
Meatball is a forward-thinking guy who thrives with a confident, intermediate rider ready to pick up the pace. He’s happy doing flatwork and with some conditioning could return to small fences. Not currently in a jumping program but has the foundation and heart to come back into work with the right partner.

🧠 Best Suited For:

• Intermediate rider looking for a fun, forward ride

• A rider with a soft hand and a steady leg

Looking to join the crew with your horse at Better Days?! We don’t have current dry lot space available; however we do have new opportunities projected for the end of Summer 2026! 😎 We are putting together a waitlist to be considered for after the construction of our new set of dry lots.
