Scampering Paws Scampering Paws will care for your pets whether you are on holiday, at work or simply away from the house for the day,

Scampering Paws is a family run business in the north of York. We’re dedicated to providing the best care for your animals in a reliable, professional and caring manner. We’re experienced in dog walking, caring for rabbits, cats and other small animals. Having been surrounded by animals for most of our lives we’re all huge animal lovers. Possibly due to work, or holidays, sometimes it is difficult to give your pets the love and attention that they deserve. Scampering Paws can fulfil this, through dog walking (either as part of a group, or individually), popping in and feeding your animals or even assisting with vet visits. Whatever your pet’s needs, Scampering Paws will be able to help to make their (and your) lives a little easier! Our services include:

Dog walking
Petsitting (Popping in and feeding, for example when you’re on holiday)
Pet taxi
Pop-in service (For older and younger animals who may not need a walk, but do need some extra tlc)
Rabbit boarding

We also cover the following areas of York:

Poppleton
Skelton
Rawcliffe
Clifton Moor
Clifton
Wiggington

Today is Black Cat Appreciation Day, so we’re remembering our own black cat, Skylar. She came to us just before Covid, so hated meeting new humans, but when she got to know you, she definitely loved you! She adored going out in dark, so we still have cat locks on all of the windows!

Enjoy remembering your own black cats!

And as I missed these yesterday, some more International cats!

Its our birthday!! 🎉🎂🎈

We’ve been looking after pets and walking dogs for a whole twelve years, and it seriously doesn’t seem that long.

Thank you to all of our customers, both past and present. We’ll be celebrating tonight, and the Barney’s have started already! Brooke and Aria were not impressed with their hats… 🤣🤣🤣
