Paws, Walks & Snores

Call Directions

Paws, Walks & Snores I offer animal sitting and one to one dog walking services in the following areas: Bishopthorpe, Naburn, Copmanthorpe, Acaster Malbis and South Bank.

I am fully insured, CRB checked and references are available. Paws, Walks & Snores was established in September 2012. After a number of incredibly rewarding years spent working in the field of animal welfare, I decided to embark on setting up my own animal sitting & dog walking service, thereby enabling me to combine my love of animals with the flexibility to manage my own creature commitments at home. My animal background includes working as Audio Typist - responsible for compiling prosecution case files - at the RSPCA Regional Headquarters in Leeds, and a happy five years in the role of Cat Care Assistant at the York Cats Protection Adoption Centre. With Paws, Walks & Snores, I will always endeavour to provide an honest, flexible and individual service which puts your animal(s) first. I am happy to provide care for any animal. Please do get in touch if you would like any further information.

Dolly, Silvy and Theo. Best moment of the cat-sitting weekend would have to be when all three settled on my lap in the armchair, and such was my state of relax that I fell asleep!

Quality time with sweetheart Madge. And the most beautiful gift (all the way from Sri Lanka) from her lovely keeper Lynda after my two week cat-sitting stretch. Thank you both, I love it!

Lovely Poppy. Beautiful girl, very timid, and altogether uncertain during our first day spent together. So I just sat at a distance and prattled away to her. Not sure what she made of me but she seemed to be listening.

Particularly her tiny stump of a tail which wiggles ridiculously when she sees you!

The highlight of last week (amongst all the usual loveliness!) would have to be an unexpected few visits to see Bonnie. Having not seen her since her puppy days (see photo!), it was such a delight to be able to see her all grown up. Alas, I neglected to take along my camera - so you shall simply have to enjoy her as she was!
