🐾 A Little More About My De-Matting Service 🐾
I often get asked how much de-matting costs, so I wanted to explain how my pricing works. 💚
Every coat and every pet is different, so the final price depends on how severe the matting is, how much needs to be removed, and how long the appointment takes.
My prices are:
🏡 Home visit: £10
✂️ Nail clip: £10
✂️ Clip knots: £10
🪮 Brush out: £10
🐾 Underbelly de-matt: £30
🐾 Full de-matt: £50
These prices are a guide, and I can always assess your pet when I arrive and talk you through what I think is appropriate before we start.
💚 Your pet’s welfare always comes first.
If your pet isn’t used to being handled, is particularly nervous, or is likely to struggle during grooming, I may recommend bringing an additional person with me to help safely hold and support them. This is £20 for their time.
🏡 How does a home visit work?
I come to you, meaning your pet doesn’t have to deal with the stress of travelling or an unfamiliar grooming environment.
I will normally work in a quiet bathroom or small room, where we can keep the environment calm and minimise distractions.
Some matting can be uncomfortable or even painful, so I will always work at your pet’s pace. If I feel that continuing would cause unnecessary stress or discomfort, I will stop and discuss the options with you.
My aim is never simply to remove the matting — it’s to make sure your pet is safe, comfortable and treated with kindness throughout the process. 🐶🐱💚
