⭐️Information for clients attending our clinics and competitions.
We would like to bring to your attention the ongoing risks associated with Equine Influenza (Equine Flu), a highly contagious respiratory disease, and remind all horse owners the importance of remaining vigilant. This is to protect the health and welfare of their horses ,the wider equine community and our horses at Benridge.
We are kindly asking all those who are attending our venue to follow the guidance below.
-Ensure ALL HORSES vaccinations are up to date ie primary course of 3 vaccinations plus a 6 monthly or annual booster.
-Your horse’s passport should be carried with you and be available for checking.
-Please do not visit venues if your horse or any horses on your yard show ANY viral signs or symptoms, or are unwell in anyway.
-Horses are not permitted to hand graze in any areas of the venue.
-Do not share tack or equipment.
-Please do not allow any direct contact with any horses in fields/ stables, via visiting horses or handlers
