🐴WHAT A DAY FOR KING! 🐴

Today we took King to combined training, and although his dressage test wasn’t quite what we’d hoped for on paper, there were some very understandable reasons behind it.

With horses flying up and down the side of his arena and another horse actually entering the ring while he was in there, due to issues with an unorganised warm up, it certainly wasn’t the easiest environment for him.

But do you know what? The way he kept his head, stayed cool and behaved impeccably was something else! We couldn’t have asked any more of him.

And then came the showjumping… DOUBLE CLEAR! 💥💪 He absolutely flew around that course and made it look effortless! It’s such a shame it wasn’t timed, as he was absolutely flying! It’s disappointing when events are run this way, and today has certainly made us understand why these competitions struggle to attract people. For us, it was definitely a first and last time at this particular event.

But regardless of the frustrations, King went out there, did his dressage and jumped an AMAZING double clear. As a team, we couldn’t be prouder of him! ❤️🏆

You kept your cool, trusted your horse and rode him brilliantly today, just as you always do. Never forget that one person’s opinion means very little compared to the time, effort, dedication and love you pour into this horse every single day.

There were certainly things today that could, and should, have been done differently, but you picked yourselves up, got on with it and made the best of the situation. That’s what true horsemanship and teamwork are all about.

You are both superstars, and you ALWAYS find a way to make it work! ⭐️🐴

Today wasn’t necessarily about the results on paper. It was about keeping your cool when things weren’t ideal, giving your horse the confidence he needed and coming away with your heads held high.

King, you are loved beyond words, and we are SO proud of the horse you are becoming. 💙

After a 3 week break from jumping, a little holiday in between and plenty of hacking, it was finally time to get the big lad winter ready! 🐴❤️

After such an amazing time at Cricklands, today he cracked straight back on with his job and gave us another fantastic day out around Todburn XC.

Not a single bit of backing off, happily taking on some rather big XC fences despite having had a break from jumping! 💪🏼 He really does love his job, and I couldn’t be happier with how he felt today.

We have so much planned for this winter from dressage and showjumping to arena eventing and plenty more adventures along the way! 🏆✨

Bring on the winter season! ❄️🐎

What a way to finish the Summer League! 💗🏆🐴✨

Sorry this post has been a little delayed… we’ve honestly been on cloud 9, and with the Welsh Derby only days away, we’ve gone straight from celebrating to full force getting everything ready for Wales on Thursday! 🥹🏇💙

But this deserved a proper post… because WHAT A TEAM. ❤️

After six weeks of competing week after week in both the 90cm and 1m, King and Jess have officially WON THE GOLD LEAGUE! 🏆🥇💗

To say we are proud is a complete understatement.

Six weeks of stepping into the ring, six weeks of giving it absolutely everything, and six weeks of bringing home ribbons and results that we could only have dreamed of. The consistency, confidence and progress King has shown throughout this league has been incredible. 🐴💙

And behind every single one of those rounds is a team.

A team that turns up every week.
A team that supports King and Jess.
A team that works behind the scenes, from the wash bay to the trailer at home and at the shows.
A team that celebrates the highs and helps through the lows.

Because achievements like this don’t happen because of one person it takes a village. And we genuinely have the BEST one. 💙

And of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible people and brands who support King every step of the way.
