🙈 I HATE doing videos and hearing my own squeaky voice back… but I really want you all to get to know the person behind The Little Barn, so here goes! 😂🤎

Meet gorgeous Max 🐾❤️

Max is one of my elderly customers and now really struggles to stand for his groom. As a one-to-one groomer, that means lots of supporting, adapting and working around what he can comfortably manage.

Today I trialled my new grooming support sling with him – and what a difference! 🥰 It gave Max that extra support while I dried his legs, trimmed his feet and did his nails, without expecting him to keep standing.

For me, grooming isn’t always about achieving the perfect haircut. Sometimes it’s about adapting the groom, having the right equipment and putting the dog’s comfort and welfare first. 🤎

Our golden oldies deserve that little bit of extra patience. 🥹🐶

Well done Max, you were a superstar ⭐️

Because nursing and dog grooming clearly aren’t enough… 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve decided I need another little project to keep me busy!

The parcels have been arriving thick and fast 📦, my dogs are supervising every delivery 🐶 and I’m slowly gathering what looks like half a craft shop in the garden 😂✂️🧵

I’ve never done anything like this before, so there may be a few wonky attempts along the way 🙈, but I’m really excited to have a go!

Hopefully there’ll soon be some rather cute little additions coming to The Little Barn Grooming Boutique… 🎀🐾

When you’re a Community Children’s Nurse AND a dog groomer, apparently there’s just no escaping the pups… not that I’m complaining! 😂🐶

This gorgeous little face certainly made my working day a whole lot sweeter. 💕

Safe to say, whether I’m in my nursing uniform or my grooming one, I’m always happiest when there are cuddles involved! 🐾🥰

🐾 July… what a month! 🐾

As I look back through all these gorgeous faces, I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to every single one of my amazing customers for trusting me with your precious pups.

July has been my busiest month yet, and I’m so grateful to see The Little Barn Grooming Boutique continuing to grow. From regular spruce-ups for my wonderful loyal clients, to welcoming new furry friends, Teddy Spa Packages, nail trims, a**l gland treatments and Emmi-pet teeth cleaning… it’s been an incredible month filled with wagging tails, cuddles and lots of fluffy transformations! ✂️🛁🐶

Every dog that comes through my door means so much to me, and seeing so many of you return time and time again is the biggest compliment I could ask for.
Thank you for supporting my little business, recommending me to your friends and family, leaving lovely reviews, and allowing me to do a job I genuinely love every day.
