Reef Lab If you keep marine fish, you already know the biggest threat isn’t what you can see—it’s what you bring home with them. Stop reacting and start preventing.

Why is so hard to find good staff! Our helper this morning seems to have clocked off early 🤦‍♂️

The beauty of our full quarantine. Our home aquarium has become a peaceful place where all of our fish have been through a strict QT. Everyone’s time in the hobby will have ups and downs, at some point all of us will buy a fish that maybe we should not of. We all do it and 99% of people will learn from that experience. Personally I have had 2 velvet wipe outs during the early days of this hobby, it is heartbreaking watching your livestock going one by one. That’s not even thinking about the time and money invested in them.

Our current livestock:
Blue spot jawfish
Achillies tang
Borbonius anthia
Ventrailis anthia
Copperband
Picasso clowns
Quoyi parrotfish
Molly miller blenny
Mandarin

Concerned about your livestock? Not sure what the process is? Want more information?

Give us a shout!

We could watch this guy all day! He’s been in our care now over 12 months. One fish that a lot of people struggle with long term, acclimated to normal reef temps slowly over time and feed a high quality diet. Ignore the aiptasia and algae 🤦‍♂️ we are getting there to defeat it 🤣

A lovely copperband we recently quarantined for a client. Smashing the frozen food and already cleared an aiptasia problem. Win win for this customer.
