Hi, I’m Milly! I wanted to share a little bit about the story behind Glossy Tails 🩷

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had pretty much every pet you can think of, so working with animals was always something I knew I wanted to do.

In 2019, I moved from Lanzarote to England and went on to complete my Level 3 Advanced Technical Extended Diploma in Animal Management at Myerscough College, achieving a Distinction. During my time there, I gained experience working with all kinds of animals.

But dogs have always been my favourite. 🐶🐾

In 2022, I started at Barkpark as work experience and quickly realised I’d found something I really loved. After finishing college, I joined the Barkpark team full time.

In April 2026 I took the next step and opened Glossy Tails, based at Barkpark in Whalley!

At Glossy Tails, I offer 1-to-1 grooming in a calm and caring environment. I take the time to get to know each dog and make sure they feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their groom. My aim is for every dog to leave feeling happy, comfortable and looking their best. 😊
